"NO; U!", you sassily snap back playfully pulling the Yellow Reversal Card into view. Stammering partly in shock, her mantras become fragmented; chopped up by her growing state of confusion. "This-... isn't eve- ...-n... poss-.... p-possible!"

I could not help but do something silly with that prompt for the day! XD Besides, I've had too many ones played straight, so forgive a little chaos... :P

Let's hope there isn't a Drop +4 Draw 4 Card next. :P

I can't take compliments to save my life sometimes LOL are you or anyone else you know the same? I've learned how to say thank you to compliments, but I used to be quite awful at it and even reject the compliments by saying the exact opposite of what they say about me. Now I mostly just use the reverse card on people hah! >:D

I wanted to do some fanart for @sergeanthopeless's Reverse Card fic, which was the fic that got me back into fandom after years of lurking. Chapter 21: Epilogue

Summary:

Seteth asks Jeralt and Sitri for permission to formally court their daughter. Sitri has big news.

Excerpt:

“Jeralt…I respect you as a man and a friend. Which is why I want you to know: I seek your permission to court your daughter, with the objective of marriage.”

Jeralt’s eyebrows shot upward.

“I hope that you do not feel that I somehow intended to use you, that our friendship was a ruse with ulterior motives…”

Jeralt gestured to stop Seteth from continuing. “Well. I don’t think any of Byleth’s prior romantic interests have ever bothered asking about it...” He ran a trembling hand through his hair.

Then he fixed Seteth with an unsteady smirk. “…But since you’re asking, and since you’re being up front about wanting to marry her, then it’s my responsibility to put you through your paces. I’ve got to make sure you’re worthy of her.”
