‘It Should’ve Been Me’ really did a number on me. I still feel my heart clench every time I remember the ending 🥺
If it’s not too much to ask, will you be making a continuation of it? Like, how life is in the House Of Lamentation after Mammon’s gone, and Lilith is so furious at the brothers that she refuses to even talk to them, locking herself in Mammon’s room for days. And when MC comes back and finds out she’s so distraught and devastated that she breaks her pacts with all the brothers.
I am a sucker for angst, I’m sorry 😭😭😭
AAAAAH DON'T WORRY I'M A SUCKER FOR ANGST TOO-
I want to, I do want to make a continuation for it since it seemed like such a fun idea to explore. But as of now, I'm focusing on my Lost in Forever series and... might probably do a few Sentient!OM! stories.
Plus I still have my real life work to do...
Oof, and if Mc exists in that world, it'd be all the angstier 😭 but I personally think if Mc still exists, Mammon wouldn't kill himself 'cause he's still got Mc, y'know? But that's bE SO SAD THO LIKE THE BROTHERS FAILED MC! THEY FAILED- Mammon.
And Lilith's gonna be a vengeful queen, yes!
It's one a.m. I should go to sleep but you know how it is. "Inspiration always comes at midnight" or something like that.
And you know what, anyone who wants to be tagged in the continuation of 'It Should've Been Me', feel free to reply to this post. But don't expect it too soon 'cause I'm still human.
Sometimes I wonder if I bite more than I can chew.
Edit: to anyone that asks, I'm gonna refrain from replying so it's not too cluttered when I recheck in the future~

Madame Macabre- Heart Has Value (a hobo heart theme song)
Hey guys, I’m back on my rarepair bullshit again. On today’s episode of RarePair Hell, we have: Keiji and Qtaro tattoo artist/flower shop AU.
Qtaro, after having injured himself too badly to have any chance of a professional career in baseball, decides to slow down a bit and open up a little flower shop. He never pictured himself here when he was younger, but surprisingly, he enjoys making flower arrangements to display in the window. It helps calm him down.
Meanwhile, in the tattoo parlor next door, one tattoo apprentice Joe Tazuna keeps finding more and more flower motifs amongst his mentor’s sketches...
Just one thought: Lena and ‘I’m holding out for a hero’ and Kara
hi! not be stalker-ish or anything, but you reblogged my poem and in the tags you said "i swear i've heard this as a song," but it's original poetry and idk what i'm trying to say, but now i want to hear the song! (not that i think you're calling plagiarism, you just piqued my curiosity.)
I totally understand! If I put my work out there I'd always be wondering about how people think of it.
I definitely wasn't attempting to call anyone out for plagiarism at all; my memory is hazy at best most of the time but I've heard a couple of great poems get turned into songs by other people (there's one here for 'I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings' that is simple but is delightful to hear). I could've sworn I heard yours before in that way.
I spent the better part of an hour googling phrases hoping I would find something that jogged my memory or was similar to what I kept hearing little snippets of in the back of my head but it was all for naught. Which is frustrating because it seems so familiar...
Why/how is mixed faunus reproduction randomized?
In the Volume 4 World of Remnant segment on faunus (which is suspiciously hard to find these days), Qrow breaks down faunus compatibility thusly:
1. Faunus Type A + Faunus Type A = Faunus Type A
2. Faunus Type A + Human = Faunus Type A, or Human
3. Faunus Type A + Faunus Type B = Faunus Type ???
The first two make a good amount of logical sense - nothing unexpected ever seems to come from those kinds of unions, as the children only possess a selection of species-based traits that their parents possess. We might wonder about the likelihood of a faunus/human child to be faunus or human, but otherwise this seems straightfoward enough.
But the third case is where, as Qrow says, scientists are “still scratching their heads.” Apparently, a child born of two different types of faunus could possess any faunus trait, not necessarily reflecting that of either of their parents’.
This is not a topic that has really been explored outside the World of Remnant segments, however, we do have one family of faunus for reference: the Belladonnas. Blake (a faunus with cat ears) is the child of Ghira (a faunus with panther claws) and Kali (a faunus with larger cat ears). While they all share cat-like traits, Kali and Ghira have two different faunus traits, which would seem to put them into the third category. This would mean that Blake’s cat trait is actually pure coincidence, and that she could have turned out to be any kind of faunus.
However, it may be that faunus with similar traits, or traits that come from similar kinds of animals, reproduce as in the first example - meaning Blake’s cat-family heritage is relatively “pure” and indeed goes back generations.
Either way, the randomness factor still exists. So how does an unrelated faunus trait manifest from two different faunus? It may simply be that, if you go back far enough in any faunus lineage, there are common ancestors, and this happens through uniquely expressive “recessive” genes. Or perhaps all faunus are “coded” with the potential for any faunus traits, and common parentage simply informs a common trait in the child.
For another time: If the only difference between faunus and humans is a single animal trait, and if all faunus have the potential to reproduce any kind of faunus, are faunus or humans just “modified” versions of the other? Which came first?
(Happy Faunus Friday!)
