"what is a xenopronoun? what is a neopronoun? what are non neopronouns called? etc". hi im putting all the names and terms i know into a post to be useful for others!
cake/cakeself, paw/pawself etc; are a neopronoun, specifically a nounpronoun.
🌽/🌽self, 🍋🧁/🍋🧁self etc; are a neopronoun, specifically an emojipronoun -> symbol pronouns are similar ie: ☆/☆self (pt: star symbol/star symbol self).
xy/xyr, e/em etc; are a neopronoun, specifically an aliuspronoun. coining name for the word found here (link).
hx/hxm, shy/shyr etc; are neopronoun, specifically a revoxpronoun. revoxpronominal as official coining name found here (link).
the sound burning stars make, a word the human vocal cords cant make, etc; are a neopronoun, but specifically a xenopronoun. more info found here (link).
he, she, they, it; not a neopronoun, specifically exipronoun. coining of name found here (link). -> people debate on it/its because of how old it is in history, but also how it isn't socially at large seen as a valid pronoun outside of insult contexts.
xenopronoun is under neopronoun as a concept. but xenopronoun does not mean any of the other terms above. xenopronoun is defined as "not being able to be understood by humans and/or expressed through human language. theoretical examples of xenopronouns include; prns that involve concepts that humans do not have words for. prns whose meanings cannot be translated into any human language (hypothetical in mind). prns through movements that would be impossible for humans to make, if signed. prns that include sounds that would be impossible for humans to make, if spoken, etc" phrased from the wikipedia.
many people mistake xenopronouns as the other pronouns categories above, especially nouns. but that is not the case.
this has been "what are pronouns??" from mwe, if theres other categories, i don't personally know them but would love to learn! - the yearning wife
