I keep plants as a hobby and here’s a great thing that happened to me today: I bought my first orchids from a sale my University’s botanical gardens was having. I’m really excited about it. Just wanted to share.

And yes I also got some other plants because they surprised me with more than just orchids at the “Orchid” sale. I’m really excited about those too.

Also I’m in a computer lab because I had to walk across campus to work on a project right after.

i’ve gotten to the point in keeping houseplants that they just keep making copies of themselves. “i just want one rex begonia” i said, like a fucking fool

like on one hand they’re not dying and i’m glad that using greenhouse principles for houseplants works, but on the other hand, i’m running out of pot space
