Remember when Six hinted at the fact that it was VERY possible for Ben and Rex to see each other again at the end of Heroes United and we even see Alpha breaking out of his sphere prison for a second(hinting that Alpha could’ve returned for another special)and then we NEVER got to see classic Ben and Rex together again aside from a comic that probably isn’t even canon to the series

and then the reboot came along with a special that was kind of disappointing because Rex STILL doesn’t stay with Ben despite the fact that he is literally an orphan with no friends or family and Ben was acting like a jerk towards him a majority of the special, even after Bobo had explained Rexs backstory to him he was still acting kind of mean which makes the whole thing even more disappointing?

Reboot Rex: A hug would be nice.

Ben Prime: *Scoops RB Rex up like a puppy and gently squeezes him*

*No Watch and No Nanite run into the room all frantically*

No Nanite: PRIME, THERES-

Ben Prime: Ssh! *Whispering* The Reboots are sleeping!

No Nanite: *Whispering* Oh, sorry…

Rex Prime: *Whispering* What is it?

No Watch: *Whispering* There’s a fire-

RB Rex seeing this, runs over to RB Ben and shyly gives him a quick kiss on the cheek.

Prime Ben: oh are you in love with you Ben?

No Nanite: *Blushing* Y-yeah…

Nega Rex: NO. (that means yes)

Rexzarro: He’s literally perfect in every way! How could I not love him?

Bad Rex: Is that even up for debate?

Mad Rex: ……No comment.

How would the reboot ben and Rex react to Prime Rex and Ben doing the upgrade merge thing?

They’d want to do it themselves!

But I’m not sure they would be able to because of the whole Upgrade and Glitch thing(I’m not exactly sure what happened), unless Glitch can merge with RB Rex
