so, nancy and jones from rune factory 4 right? the stereotypical lovey dovey nurse and doctor couple.

when you give a love potion to nancy, she not only recognizes it, she talks about “when she was younger”... then pauses, and then proceeds to lecture you that real love doesn’t need that kind of thing - and jones is the only one for her. 

when you give a love potion to jones, he will not recognize it as such, but he will recall seeing one in his teacher’s lab before. once he drinks it, he will associate it with fried rice.

just a few facts...

 fried rice is one of the first dishes nancy ever cooked for him.

 when nancy talks about how they met, she claims she and jones have known each other since their childhood.  

when jones talks about how they met, he says he met her after her “accident”

in order for their love to last, she would have to regularly give him love potions.

she learned to cook for him.

he associates the smell of the love potion with fried rice - particularly, her cooking.
