yes, thank you! this helped the block quite a bit. married!ironhusbands.
"Peter is having girl trouble. Help."
Rhodey turned around and the look he gave Tony made the genius melt. His eyebrows were raised and the laughter could be seen bubbling up inside of him, obvious through his bright eyes.
"And how am I supposed to help? You're the kid's honorary Dad, remember?"
"But I don't know how to give this kind of advice," Tony half whined. "And if I'm his dad, then you're also his dad. 'Til death do us part, remember?"
"Oh, I remember. What kind of girl trouble?”
Tony sighed as his husband wrapped both arms around him. Rhodey was always so warm and comfortable; it was one of his finest skills.

Rhodey squeezed a little tighter.
"Woah, it's girl trouble I can actually deal with," he marveled against the top of Tony's head. "He needs to do what you do when I'm pissed off."
"Hey, the kid is only eighteen. I didn't learn how to do that until I was..."
"I mean the groveling, Tone. The grand romantic gesture. How about you suggest that romantic spot uptown? Sounds like dating Peter is a lot like dating you..."
"That poor girl..."
