making contest movesets for your pokemon is such a pain and as someone who has done hundreds of them, i wanted it to be less of a pain, so i made a web tool to easily look up contest moves. enjoy!

pokemon charity event for my late friend regi

more information from the event host ProfessorRex here (i am also involved!!) but if any of you are able to shiny hunt/collect ribbons on pokemon from august 19th-26th in honor of my friend regi who passed away in february i would really appreciate it

i still miss regi all the time and i'm relieved to be able to do something in his memory

people who complain about the battle tower cheating, bless their hearts, usually have poorly constructed teams or could have played better (managing RNG is part of the game and you have to teambuild around that)

but sometimes you really do just lose to some straight bullshit. i'm ok with losing in the tower when it's my fault, i could have played better, or my team is kinda ass. evaluate and move on. but Sometimes you miss into brightpowder Three Times even after playing optimally and it's like alright. ok

okay so i may have gotten second place in best dressed and my friend got first LOL our eeveelutions are siblings!! it really feels like we won together, i'm so happy 😭💙

this is a reminder that for some reason gen 4 does not check anything for the name rater except TID. it doesn’t even check the fateful encounter flag. if you can RNG manip the same trainer ID of any pokemon, including event pokemon, you can rename them. to rename these three event mons i just RNG’d both TIDs on two separate pearl files and speedran to eterna city with piplup LMFAO. HOME doesn’t care either! the nicknames remain when you transfer!
