Thanks for everything @RichMFNQuick. I remember being a fan when I first saw your Malcgeez freestyle years ago and never thought I’d collab with you, let alone consider you a friend. I’m still in shock and disbelief. Whether painting images with words or physically on a canvas, the talent and love was apparent. You were such a good guy, a positive figure and always supported mine and so many others’ artistry. You always saw the potential in people. I’d run into you at shows where you always made a point to stop and chat and you treated everyone with that same respect. You were one of the few people who routinely hit me up with a “Oppo! Hope all iz well bro” asking how I’m doing, giving me music advice and trying to push me further. I’m sorry I never got around to sending you those beats but I’m glad we at least got to record one hit together. I remember being so nervous about it then you wrote your verse in like 10 minutes! But it took me another 2 weeks to come up with something I thought was level. You unknowingly made me step up my bars. I remember talking about the state of hip hop and how that conversation challenged me to write a verse I felt I was actually saying something and without using profanity as a word filler. It’s a shame we never got around to doing that video for Moonshine tho... My last text from you went unnoticed because I got a new number but I still receive texts from my old number on my computer and just saw it the other day. I’m so bummed I didn’t see it and respond to it sooner. Your warmth is what this cold world needs. You had a much bigger impact on my life than I even realized or led to believe. I’m so honored to have known you. My condolences to your family. Rest easy bro ❤️🎤💯🙏🏾✨
