Ours is a world suffering from information overload. More information is being thrown at us from all directions and through various channels. The mental noise can become deafening!

Today's verse tells us exactly how and where to focus our thoughts. We have to turn from negative, sensationalistic news to that which uplifts and empowers. There is still much good in the world. There are still good policemen, politicians, and preachers. In fact they outnumber the bad. No where are the words of Jesus "Seek and ye shall find" ( Matthew 7) more true than when it comes to what we focus on.

Become more mindful of your thoughts. Memorize today's verse to help you keep your thoughts focused properly. Remember: you attract what you think about the most, good or bad!

For the past few months I've been walking out of my house thinking "What will I get if I go out there?", "Will I get the puzzle in my head fixed (answer to question left unanswered for years) if I talk to is old friend of mine?". Constantly seeking. But today I realized the days that I left my home thinking "let me give out something to someone today" have always been better than the other days. And I feel the people who met me during the 'give out' days think am cool and confident. That's coz when you are in the attitude of giving you are already grateful for what you are having. (¿So grateful heart makes you confident‽¿) Understand, every cup is filled to be emptied.
