a/n: anton in lee youngji's video. that's it. (i need us anton biases to hide him..)

it was 7:42 PM.
you had just gotten off of your long exhausting shift from the hospital. patients all day had been yelling at you, demanding things you couldn’t even give them, and just being straight up rude— being home was the only thing that was on your mind the whole day.
as the door opened, you peered into the kitchen.
anton was sitting at the kitchen island on his phone— already in his pajamas. he immediately looked up and smiled at you.
“hi, baby girl.”
you gave a small smile. “hi.”
anton made his way over to you, hands soon finding the back of your waist to pull you into a small comforting hug. he had his chin pressed on the top of your head.
“busy day today?”
you nodded, sighing into his chest. “mhm..”
he then let you out of his grasp, watching you walk towards the pan on the stove.
but.. the pan was empty.
great..!
“where’s the food?” you turned your head back to glance at anton.
he stared back at you, “i ate it,” he let out a small chuckle. “what’s wrong?”
“what do you mean, what’s wrong? did you not care to leave me some?”
“i just got home an hour ago, it was something small.” he shrugged. “you can cook yourself, that’s why i left the pan there.”
you paused. did he really just say that?
"what did you say?"
"i said you can cook."
anger fumed in your mind.
seriously, what was wrong with him?
already being home from a hectic day at work, you were at your breaking point.
“i can cook?" you scoffed. "anton, you sound like a jerk right now.” before you could continue and explode even more, you stopped yourself. you took a deep breath, closing your eyes.
anton stood still in the same place, observing whatever was happening right now in this moment. you then walked off and took your bag into the bedroom you and him shared.
“w-where are you going?” he spoke, trying to follow you.
“i’m showering.”
before he could say anything, you shut the door to the room— leaving him now staring at the white door. he sighed, rubbing both of his hands on his eyes.
inside of the bedroom, you could feel the literal steam coming out of your ears and mouth.
after your shower, you had calmed down much more.. but you were still irritated from anton’s response. you opened the bathroom door to see anton laying on his side of the bed like always. he flicked his head up away from his book he was reading to look up at you exiting the bathroom. you glanced at him for what felt like two seconds, before you walked out of the room. he furrowed his brows and put his book down.
you laid onto the couch in the living room, pulling one of the big blankets you and anton had bought for the living room specifically. the big blanket was now pulled over you comfortably, making you now very sleepy.
before you could fully fall asleep, you felt a presence right next to you. you didn't have to look to know who it was.
anton crouched down beside the couch, resting one hand against the cushion as he leaned closer.
“.. are you actually sleeping on the couch?” he asked quietly.
instead of answering, you simply turned onto your other side, facing your back to him. you tugged the blanket up under your chin more.
anton let out the smallest sigh. ".. yeah," he mumbled to himself. "i deserve that."
a moment later, you felt the couch shift again.
his arms carefully wrapped around your waist from behind, hesitant at first, almost like he was testing whether you'd push him away. when you didn't, he slowly melted into you instead, holding you against his chest.
you felt yourself relax a bit, feeling the warmth of anton.
his chin rested lightly against your shoulder before he buried his face into the back of your neck, pressing the gentlest kiss there.
"hey.." his voice was barely above a whisper. "i'm sorry."
another soft kiss. "please don't be upset at me."
you stayed quiet.
he knew you were awake, and he also knew you needed time.
".. i know you had a tough day." he continued after a few seconds. "i should've known to at least make you dinner."
his grip tightened just a little around your waist. "i'm sorry for being inconsiderate.. and telling you that you could just cook your own food." he sighed against your skin. "i wasn't thinking clearly."
he paused, rubbing slow circles against your side with his thumb.
"you work so hard.."
his voice softened even more.
".. you deserve to be pampered when you come home."
he nuzzled further into the crook of your neck.
"i'm sorry.." he whispered. "i miss you a lot too. sleeping in an empty bed tonight wouldn't make anything better."
there was another stretch of silence.
".. do you forgive me?"
you stayed still for another few seconds, letting every word settle.
still tucked comfortably in his arms, you gave the tiniest nod— it was barely noticeable.. and to be exact, you were still just being a little stubborn.
anton couldn't help but smile.
his hand gently cupped your cheek, carefully turning your face toward him just enough for your eyes to meet.
there was nothing but guilt and affection.
he leaned forward, pressing a slow, lingering kiss against your lips before pulling back just enough for his forehead to brush yours.
"c'mon," he smiled hovering over your lips.
"use your words, baby."
".. yes."
his smile immediately grew. before you could say anything else, one arm slipped beneath your knees while the other reached behind your back.
"anton—"
you let out the tiniest laugh as he effortlessly lifted you into a princess carry. your arms naturally looped around his neck, your face finding its usual spot against him.
".. my poor baby," he murmured as he carried you down the hallway.
you smiled to yourself before leaving a trail of tiny kisses along his jaw, then another against his cheek.
".. there she is." he chuckled quietly.
by the time he carried you into the bedroom, the only light left was the little lamp on the nightstand. its warm, golden glow filled the room, making everything feel softer.
anton carefully lowered you onto the bed— pulling the comforter over you, making sure you were completely tucked in before climbing into bed beside you.
with one hand, he reached over and switched off the lamp.
darkness settled around the room, and almost immediately, his arms found you again. he pulled you against his chest until there wasn't even the smallest gap between you.
you let out the quietest sigh, your forehead resting beneath his chin as his hand slowly rubbed up and down your back.
maybe that was all you needed.
just your boyfriend holding you close after a long day, reminding you that no matter how stressful life became— you never had to carry it alone.

synopsis . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁. you’re getting ready for an upscale club night while your long-term boyfriend, anton, lingers close— soft, affectionate, and just a little clingy.
you stood in front of your bathroom mirror, twisting open the pink tube of mascara.
you were getting ready to go out to a club for your friend’s birthday party, which they rented out a small roomed off section. you usually weren’t too fond of clubs— but this club was more upscale.
it was clean, classy, and expensive… so there was no way you could say no to that.
on the other side of the apartment was anton.
anton had been playing his video games in the living room on the flat screen tv.
you and anton had been dating for over 4 years and living together for 8 months. the dynamic between the two of you was perfect.
he was your calm. he didn’t stress you out. he just let you do you— and you loved that.
anton set the controller down, pacing over to the bedroom you guys shared.
he peeked into the bathroom, hands in his pockets as he leaned forward to catch a glimpse of you slyly.
your eyes though, darted immediately to his in the reflection of the mirror.
you smiled as you applied your lashes on, “hi.”
“hi,” he walked into the bathroom, coming up from behind you.
his large arms wrapped around your waist— nearly covering your whole abdominal cavity.
he placed his head onto your shoulder, nuzzling himself into your neck softly. “leaving me so soon?”
you let out a small giggle, “in 15 minutes.”
“i can drop you off,” he suggested, still keeping the same position he was in.
“my friend is picking me up, she’s already on her way.”
you put down the lash glue on the white bathroom counter, shifting yourself around anton’s big arms.
he let his arms dangle from your body, then placing them between you on the sink. you stood, caged in his arms— and you threw your arms over his neck, tippy toeing.
he leaned down and let you kiss his lips once.
you pulled back and stared into his eyes.
“you’re not going to be gone for too long, right?” he questioned, tilting his head to look at you.
you giggled, “no, baby. i’ll be home around 8 PM.”
you grabbed his hand and led him to the living room, both plopping on the couch next to each other. he grabbed your bare legs, as you were wearing a black mini skirt, and draped them over one of his legs.
“so much skin,”
he traced your legs with his long fingers as he stared at your expression.
“is it too much?” you ask.
“never.”
you laugh once again and leaned forward, pecking his cheek. you couldn’t help but admire how cute he was being.
“miss me already? i haven’t even left yet.”
anton pulled you onto his lap in a swift motion— effortlessly. his hands were on your hips, thumbs drawing small circles.
“i always miss you, even when you’re right beside me.”
your purse was sitting on the side table of the couch, and which he peered over to look at it.
“do you need some money?”
“no, i have enou—“
“i’ll send you some.”
a grin appeared on your face.
“ if you insist.”

pairing — riize’s eunseok x younger!reader
(๑ᵔ⤙ᵔ๑) genre. childhood friends to lovers, romance, yearning, angst, jealousy, age gap warnings. reader and eunseok has an age gap of 4 years, and it’s not gender neutral. reader is very feminine, but can come off as spoiled. eunseok being distracted while driving, possessiveness, it is suggestive, and might be seen as forbidden romance (they’re both adults in this though) if you’re 13 and under, i really wouldn’t suggest you to read this! wc. 5.4k

EUNSEOK TOLD HIMSELF there were only two kinds of habits.
The kind you built because you liked them—warm coffee in the morning, the same playlist on the drive home, the same seat in a room because it felt familiar.
And the kind you built because you couldn’t imagine not doing them.
Walking you home had always been the second kind.
Even now—years after uniforms and class bells and the cheap convenience-store ice creams he used to bribe you with—his body still moved on instinct when you texted him:
i’m done. are you close?
He stared at the message for half a second longer than necessary, thumb hovering. Outside the café window, the evening was blue and mild, city lights starting to blink awake. His friends were still talking, still laughing, still planning whatever came next.
Eunseok’s reply was already typed.
On my way.
He sent it before he could talk himself out of it.
His chair scraped the floor. Sohee called his name, teasing—Hyung, where are you going? He waved like it was nothing, like he wasn’t leaving in the middle of a sentence because your text had hit his chest like a hand closing around his heart.
“It’s family stuff,” he said, which wasn’t a lie. It just wasn’t the whole truth.
He stepped out into the cool air and started walking.
He didn’t run. He never ran. Running made things look urgent. Like he cared too much.
But his pace was steady, purposeful, as if the city itself had rearranged so the shortest route to you existed only for him.
Your parents and his had been best friends for longer than he could remember. Photos existed of them crowded together, younger and brighter, holding toddlers with messy hair and sticky fingers.
In those photos, he was always somewhere near you. A shoulder behind you, a hand hovering near your elbow like he’d been put in charge of keeping you from falling.
I was, he thought, and the thought made something twist.
Because once you had started relying on him, it never really stopped.
It just… changed shape.
When he was fifteen and you were eleven, it was easy. Natural. You were small enough that his hoodie looked like a blanket on you, and your problems were the kind he could solve with snacks and a lecture that made you roll your eyes.
When he was eighteen and you were fourteen, he started noticing the line. Not the line between childhood and adulthood—that was obvious. He noticed the line between protective and something else.
So he built walls.
Not around you. Around himself.
And he’d told himself, for years, that the walls were strong.
He arrived at the building you were in and stood across the street for a moment, scanning the entrance like he was checking for danger. The habit was old. It made him feel stupid, sometimes.
But then you walked out.
And stupidity didn’t feel like the right word anymore.
You weren’t in a uniform now. You weren’t a kid. You were dressed like you always were lately—soft, pretty, deliberate. A skirt that made your legs look longer. A blouse that looked too delicate for the cold, but you had a coat draped over your arm like you didn’t care.
Your hair fell in glossy waves, like you’d taken time with it. Like you’d known he’d be the one looking.
Eunseok’s chest tightened.
You glanced around, and the second your eyes found him, your face lit up with something so bright he almost forgot how to breathe.
You crossed the street without looking both ways.
“Hey,” you said, like his presence was as expected as the pavement under your feet.
He didn’t let his eyes linger. He forced them to stay on your face. Safer there.
“Why aren’t you wearing your coat?” he asked.
“Because I knew you’d bring yours,” you said lightly.
He stared at you.
You blinked at him in pure innocence, lashes too long to be accidental. He knew that look. The look that said: I want something. You’ll give it to me.
It had started when you were small—pouting for a toy, angling your body into his space when you wanted attention. He used to think it was cute.
Now it was dangerous.
Eunseok exhaled through his nose. “It’s cold.”
You shrugged, as if the weather was a rumor. “Then give me your jacket.”
He should’ve said no.
He should’ve told you to put on your own coat. He should’ve made a joke, scolded you, done anything that wasn’t—
He pulled off his jacket and draped it around your shoulders with practiced ease.
You slipped your arms into it like it belonged there. Like he belonged there.
“Thanks,” you said, voice sweet. Then you leaned forward and inhaled, openly, shamelessly, like his jacket was a scent you wanted to wear under your skin.
Eunseok froze for half a second.
Your eyes flicked up to his.
You smiled. Small. Slow. Like you’d done something on purpose.
He felt heat crawl up the back of his neck. “Stop that,” he said.
“Stop what?” you asked, wide-eyed.
He didn’t answer. Because he didn’t have an answer that wouldn’t sound like a confession.
He started walking, and you fell into step beside him without being asked.
The city hummed around you. Cars passing, people talking, the air sharp with winter. Your shoes made soft clicks on the pavement.
It used to be that you would chatter the whole way home. About school, friends, the latest obsession you’d picked up and dropped in a week.
Now you walked in comfortable silence, close enough that your sleeve brushed his hand every few steps.
Eunseok pretended not to notice.
This is nothing, he told himself. This is normal. This is what we do.
But nothing shouldn’t feel like this.
You tilted your head. “You left your friends for me.”
“I told you,” he said. “Family stuff.”
You hummed. “I like when you say that.”
He glanced at you. “Why?”
“Because it sounds like you’re claiming me.”
His steps faltered—just a fraction. He caught himself fast enough that you probably didn’t notice.
Probably.
He kept his voice even. “Don’t say weird things.”
“I’m not saying weird things,” you replied. “I’m saying true things.”
Eunseok’s jaw tightened.
There were times, lately, when he felt like you were doing it on purpose. Testing him. Pushing the boundaries with soft hands and pretty smiles.
It should’ve annoyed him. It did, sometimes.
Mostly it scared him.
Because the more you pushed, the more he realized how thin his walls had gotten.
…
Your parents’ apartment building was familiar. The lobby smelled like polished wood and someone’s perfume. The elevator took too long. Eunseok stood beside you with his hands in his pockets, eyes forward.
He could feel you looking at him.
When the elevator doors opened, you didn’t move right away. You stayed still and leaned just slightly toward him.
“Oppa,” you said.
The word landed like a match.
Eunseok didn’t like the way his body reacted—how his spine went straighter, how his breath caught. You’d called him that before, technically. When you were younger, when it meant nothing but “older brother.”
Now it sounded like a knife pressed gently against skin.
He kept his face blank. “What?”
You stepped closer, closing the space between you until he could see the tiny shimmer on your lower lip.
“My shoe,” you said softly. “It’s loose.”
He stared.
“In the elevator?” he asked, flat.
You nodded like this was completely reasonable. “Fix it for me.”
Eunseok looked down. Your heel strap was slightly off. You could’ve adjusted it with one finger.
You wanted him to touch you.
His throat felt tight.
“I’m not doing that here,” he said.
You pouted. Not exaggerated—just enough to make his chest ache. “Why not?”
Because if he knelt in front of you in an elevator, with you wearing his jacket, looking down at him with that expression, he—
He pressed the elevator button with more force than necessary. “Come on.”
You followed, smiling like you’d won something.
He walked you to your door. Your parents weren’t home—he knew that already, because your mom had texted his mom earlier about dinner plans. The adults were out doing adult things, leaving the two of you with too much empty space.
You unlocked the door and paused.
“Are you coming in?” you asked.
Eunseok should’ve refused. It was late. He had things to do. He could go home.
But your eyes were soft, and you were still wearing his jacket, and the hallway felt too quiet.
He stepped inside.
The apartment was warm, lights low. You kicked off your shoes and immediately padded toward the kitchen like you owned the place—which you did. You’d grown up here.
“Do you want tea?” you asked.
“I’m fine,” he said.
You opened the fridge anyway. “I’m making some. Sit.”
Eunseok sat on the couch because it gave his hands something to do—resting on his knees, fingers clasped. The familiar space should’ve calmed him.
Instead, he felt like he’d been led into a trap built out of memories.
You moved around the kitchen, the sound of cupboards opening and closing oddly intimate. The smell of tea leaves drifted in.
Eunseok stared at the wall across from him, trying not to imagine you in his jacket, moving through a room like you belonged in his life more than anyone else.
When you returned, you handed him a mug with both hands. Your fingers brushed his.
That tiny contact sent a spark through him so sharp he almost flinched.
You sat beside him—not too close, but close enough. Your knee angled toward his.
Eunseok took a careful sip. “You were out late,” he said.
“I had class,” you replied. “And then I met a friend.”
His eyes lifted. “What friend?”
You smiled into your tea. “A guy.”
Eunseok didn’t move.
Inside, something clenched. A guy.
He kept his voice steady. “From where?”
“From my class,” you said. “He’s nice.”
Eunseok nodded once, as if he didn’t care. “Okay.”
You turned to look at him. “That’s it?”
“What do you want me to say?” he asked.
“I don’t know,” you said, voice airy. “Maybe… ask more. Act a little jealous.”
Eunseok’s mug paused halfway to his lips.
He looked at you slowly. “Why would I be jealous?”
Your gaze didn’t waver. “Because you care.”
“I do care,” he said.
Your smile softened, and for a second you looked almost… tender. “Then why won’t you say it?”
Eunseok’s throat tightened. He stared at you, trying to find the line. Trying to find the safe answer.
“You’re like family,” he said, because it was the phrase he’d used to keep himself sane.
Your expression shifted. Not hurt—something sharper. Like you’d expected it.
You set your mug down and leaned closer. “I’m not your sister.”
The words were quiet.
Eunseok’s heart beat once, hard.
He forced himself to exhale. “I didn’t say you were.”
“But you keep acting like it,” you whispered.
He didn’t answer because his mouth felt useless. Because his mind was full of things he couldn’t afford to say.
You tilted your head. “Do you know what he said to me?”
Eunseok’s jaw tensed. “Who.”
“The guy,” you said, with maddening calm. “He said I’m cute.”
Eunseok stared at the floor. He could picture it too easily—someone smiling at you, leaning in, saying words that didn’t belong to them.
He wanted to tell you to be careful. He wanted to tell you not to trust strangers. He wanted to tell you—
He wanted to tell you don’t let anyone look at you like that.
His hands clenched slowly on his knees.
You watched him, eyes bright. “He asked for my number.”
Eunseok’s voice came out lower than usual. “Did you give it?”
You didn’t answer right away.
That silence was a blade.
Eunseok lifted his eyes to you. His face stayed calm. He’d learned how to be calm even when his insides were burning.
Your lips curled into a small smile. “Why? Does it matter?”
“Yes,” he said, too fast.
He caught himself. “I mean—”
“Because you’re protective,” you supplied, sweet as honey. “Because you’re like my—”
“Don’t,” he said sharply.
You blinked, surprised. Then your smile widened—like you were delighted to have found a crack in him.
Eunseok’s pulse hammered.
You leaned back, casually. “Relax. I didn’t give it.”
He hated the relief that flooded him. Hated it because it meant you had control.
You reached for your mug again and sipped, eyes never leaving his. “But I could’ve.”
Eunseok swallowed.
He didn’t like being played with. He didn’t like feeling pulled by a string.
But with you, he’d been on your string for years. He’d just pretended it was his choice.
“Why are you doing this?” he asked quietly.
You set the mug down. “Doing what?”
He held your gaze. “Pushing.”
Something flickered behind your eyes—brief vulnerability, quickly masked. “Because you won’t move.”
Eunseok felt the air shift.
Outside, a car passed. Somewhere in the building, someone laughed. The world kept going.
Inside the room, it was just you and him and a line that had been thinning for years.
You spoke softly. “You always tell me what to do. You always decide what’s best for me. You always—”
“I take care of you,” Eunseok said.
“Yes,” you whispered. “So tell me why.”
He stared at you.
Tell you why he couldn’t sleep when you didn’t text back.
Tell you why he memorized your schedule without thinking.
Tell you why he knew the names of your friends and the streets you walked on and the places you liked to sit.
Tell you why his chest felt too tight when he imagined you laughing with someone else.
Tell you why he’d built walls and still ended up here.
He couldn’t. Not out loud.
Because once he said it, it would be real.
And if it was real, it would be his fault.
You leaned in again, just slightly. “Eunseok.”
Hearing his name from you like that made his vision blur at the edges.
“Say it,” you whispered.
He didn’t move. “Say what.”
“You know,” you murmured.
Eunseok’s fingers dug into his knees, nails pressing into fabric.
He forced his voice to stay even. “Stop playing games.”
You smiled, soft. “I’m not playing. I’m waiting.”
“For what,” he asked, voice rougher now.
“For you to choose me,” you said.
The words were simple.
They hit him like something breaking.
Eunseok stood abruptly, as if the couch had turned to fire beneath him. “I should go.”
Your eyes widened. “What?”
He grabbed his jacket from your shoulders without thinking. The fabric slid off you, exposing your bare arms. You looked suddenly smaller without it.
Eunseok hated the way his body reacted—how possessive it felt, how wrong and right at the same time.
He forced himself to step back, to put distance between you and his hands.
“I should go,” he repeated, steadier.
You stood too, stepping closer. “Why?”
Because if he stayed, he’d lose.
Because if he stayed, he’d say something he couldn’t take back.
You took another step, closing the gap. “Are you scared of me?”
Eunseok’s laugh was short, humorless. “No.”
Your eyes searched his face. “Then what are you scared of?”
He didn’t answer.
You reached out and touched his wrist.
Just that. Not dramatic.
But the contact made his whole body lock.
Your voice dropped. “You’re the one who made me like this, you know.”
Eunseok’s eyes snapped to yours. “What.”
You smiled—faint, almost cruel in its softness. “You always did everything. You always gave me what I wanted. You always showed up.”
Your fingers tightened slightly on his wrist. “How was I supposed to grow up and not want you?”
Eunseok’s breath left him.
He stared at you like he’d been hit.
You watched him, unblinking, waiting for him to crack.
And he did—just not where you could see it.
Eunseok pulled his wrist free, controlled. He didn’t grab you. He didn’t raise his voice. He didn’t do anything that would reveal the chaos inside.
“I didn’t make you,” he said, careful. “You’re responsible for your own feelings.”
Your smile didn’t fade. “Okay. Then be responsible for yours.”
Eunseok’s throat tightened until it hurt.
He couldn’t stay. He couldn’t.
He turned and walked to the door with steady steps. He heard you follow, light and quick.
“Eunseok,” you called, and he kept walking.
Your hand grabbed the sleeve of his shirt.
Eunseok froze.
“Don’t leave,” you said, quieter now.
He didn’t look at you. If he looked, he might not be able to move.
He forced himself to speak evenly. “Let go.”
Silence. Then—your grip loosened.
Eunseok opened the door and stepped into the hallway.
He didn’t let himself look back.
…
He made it to his car before his hands started shaking.
He sat in the driver’s seat with the door closed, the world muted outside the glass.
His phone buzzed.
A message from you.
you’re running away.
Eunseok stared at it until the words blurred.
He put the phone face-down on the passenger seat like it was dangerous.
His breathing was too loud in the quiet car. He tried to slow it down. Tried to make his heart stop pounding.
Get it together.
He pressed his forehead against the steering wheel and shut his eyes.
He could still feel your fingers on his wrist.
He could still hear the way you’d said his name.
How was I supposed to grow up and not want you?
Eunseok’s chest tightened so hard it felt like he couldn’t inhale.
He’d always thought he was the steady one. The older one. The one with control.
But the truth—ugly, humiliating—was that you’d been holding him for years.
He just hadn’t noticed the grip until it started hurting.
A sound escaped him—small, broken. He clenched his jaw and swallowed it down.
He didn’t cry. He didn’t.
Except his eyes were burning, and his throat hurt, and suddenly there was wetness on his cheeks before he could stop it.
Eunseok wiped it away immediately, harsh. Angry at himself.
Tears were weakness. Tears were—
No.
That wasn’t fair. That was something he’d learned because the world didn’t reward men for being soft. Because he’d been trained to be solid, dependable.
Because he’d built his identity around not falling apart.
But he was falling apart.
Just silently.
He covered his eyes with his hand, palm pressing hard as if he could shove the emotion back where it came from.
It didn’t work.
The tears slid out anyway—quiet, restrained, humiliating.
Not sobs. Not drama.
Just… overflow.
Because the wanting had nowhere else to go.
He stayed like that for a minute, breathing through it, letting the worst of it pass.
When he lowered his hand, he stared at the dark windshield.
His reflection looked like him. Same face, same posture.
But something inside him had shifted.
He picked up his phone with steady fingers.
Another message from you had arrived.
if you’re going to treat me like i’m yours, then act like it.
Eunseok’s heart stuttered.
He didn’t respond.
He started the car.
He didn’t go home.
He drove.
The streets blurred under streetlights. His mind replayed years like a film he couldn’t turn off.
You as a kid, tugging his sleeve because you didn’t want to walk alone.
You as a teenager, rolling your eyes but still waiting for him outside the school gate.
You as an adult, looking at him with that same trust—and something more.
He’d told himself it was fine because he was safe.
He was the one who showed up. The one who cared. The one who kept everything stable.
But safety wasn’t neutral.
Sometimes safety was the thing that made someone belong to you without either of you admitting it.
Eunseok’s hands tightened on the steering wheel.
By the time he parked near your building again, his jaw ached from clenching it.
He sat in the car, staring at the entrance.
He could leave. He could go home. He could pretend this wasn’t happening.
Then his phone buzzed again.
i’m not going to chase you, oppa.
The word made his breath catch.
but i’m also not going to wait forever.
Eunseok stared at the message until his vision sharpened.
He didn’t like being cornered.
He didn’t like ultimatums.
But the truth was—this wasn’t an ultimatum.
It was you finally refusing to be the only one brave enough to move.
Eunseok shut his eyes.
If I go up there, I’m done.
Because there was no version of this where he could return to pretending.
He exhaled.
Then he got out of the car.
…
The elevator ride up felt longer this time. His heartbeat was loud in his ears.
He stood at your door and lifted his hand.
He hesitated.
Then he knocked.
Silence.
He knocked again.
Footsteps approached. The door opened.
You stood there in socks, hair slightly messier now, face bare. Without the carefully crafted softness from earlier, you looked more real.
Your eyes widened when you saw him.
For a second, neither of you spoke.
Then you leaned against the doorframe like you were trying to look casual. “You came back.”
Eunseok’s voice was quiet. “Yeah.”
You searched his face. “Why.”
He didn’t answer right away because if he answered, he’d say too much.
So he asked, “Are you alone?”
You blinked. “Yes.”
He nodded once. “Good.”
Your eyes widened again. A small breath left you. “Eunseok—”
“Let me in,” he said.
You moved without argument, stepping aside.
He walked into the apartment and shut the door behind him.
The click echoed.
That sound felt final.
Eunseok turned to face you.
You were watching him with a cautious kind of anticipation, as if you didn’t know whether he’d come to scold you or surrender.
Eunseok kept his expression controlled. His hands stayed at his sides.
But his voice—his voice betrayed him slightly, lower and rougher than usual.
“You can’t do that,” he said.
You frowned. “Do what.”
“You can’t… say things like that,” he said, eyes fixed on yours. “You can’t look at me like that.”
You crossed your arms, chin lifting. “Why not?”
Eunseok’s jaw tensed.
Because I’ll break.
Because I’ll want.
Because I’ll take everything you offer and call it my right.
He stepped closer.
You didn’t move away.
That was its own kind of answer.
Eunseok stopped when you were close enough that he could feel the warmth of you.
He looked down at you, and for a moment he let himself see it—your femininity, your softness, the way you held your ground anyway. Bratty, maybe. Spoiled by him, definitely.
A problem he created.
A problem he wanted.
“You think this is a game,” he murmured.
You swallowed. “I don’t.”
Eunseok’s eyes flicked to your lips. He forced them back up.
“You think you can make me say it first,” he said, voice steady despite the way his hands wanted to move.
Your eyes flashed with something like satisfaction. “Can I not?”
Eunseok stared at you.
A laugh almost escaped him—small, incredulous.
“You’re… unbelievable,” he said.
You shrugged, too innocent. “Then stop letting me.”
His chest tightened.
Eunseok took a slow breath.
He had rehearsed so many versions of this in his head—versions where he stayed composed, where he said the right thing, where he didn’t reveal too much.
But standing in front of you, with you looking at him like you already knew, he realized the right thing wasn’t pretty.
It was honest.
Eunseok spoke quietly. “I don’t know when it changed.”
Your expression softened, just slightly.
“I don’t know when I stopped thinking of you as… just the kid I had to take care of,” he continued. “But it did.”
Your lips parted, but you didn’t interrupt.
Eunseok’s throat tightened. He swallowed.
“I tried to fix it,” he admitted. “I tried to be normal. I tried to draw lines.”
His eyes flicked away for a second, as if he couldn’t bear to look at you while saying it.
“But you’re—” He exhaled. “You’re everywhere for me.”
Silence fell.
You stood very still, as if any movement might break the moment.
Eunseok looked back at you. His gaze was steady now, like he’d made a decision he couldn’t undo.
“When you don’t text me back, I can’t sleep,” he said. “When someone looks at you, I feel… sick.”
Your breath caught.
Eunseok’s jaw clenched as if the words tasted like weakness. “I hate it. I hate that it makes me feel like I own something I don’t.”
Your eyes shimmered slightly, but you blinked it away. “Eunseok…”
He stepped closer again, until there was barely space between you.
His voice dropped. “You asked me to say it.”
You swallowed, nodding faintly.
Eunseok stared at you with an intensity that made your smile falter.
“I like you,” he said, slow, deliberate. “Not like family. Not like a sister. Not like anything I’m allowed to pretend is safe.”
Your breath left you in a shaky exhale.
Eunseok’s eyes didn’t leave your face. “I like you in a way that makes me feel stupid. And angry. And—”
His voice cracked, just barely. He stopped, jaw tightening hard as if he could force it back into place.
You reached out, careful, and touched his hand.
Eunseok didn’t pull away.
You whispered, “You’re not stupid.”
He laughed once, breathless. “You don’t know.”
You stepped closer until your forehead almost touched his chest. “Then show me.”
Eunseok froze.
Show you. As if he hadn’t been showing you his whole life.
His throat burned.
He turned his head slightly, staring past you for a second as if he could find composure somewhere in the room.
When he looked back down at you, his eyes were glossy—not crying, not yet, but close.
“I’m trying,” he said, voice tight. “I’m trying to be… good.”
You tilted your face up. “Good for who?”
Eunseok didn’t answer.
Because the only real answer was: good for you.
Good enough not to hurt you. Good enough not to ruin you. Good enough not to take something that wasn’t offered.
But you were offering.
You’d been offering.
Just… in your own maddening way.
You squeezed his hand. “I’m not asking you to be perfect,” you whispered. “I’m asking you to stop acting like you don’t feel anything.”
Eunseok’s chest tightened so hard it hurt.
His face stayed controlled. His posture stayed solid.
But his voice—his voice betrayed him again, rough with emotion he couldn’t fully hide.
“I feel too much,” he said.
The words came out like a confession and a warning.
You stared at him. “Then feel it.”
Eunseok’s breath shook.
For a second, he looked like he might step back.
Instead, he lifted his free hand and touched your cheek—slow, careful, like he was making sure you were real.
Your eyes fluttered, and you leaned into his palm.
Eunseok’s control snapped—not explosively, not violently.
Just quietly.
Like a thread breaking.
His eyes went wet. He blinked, hard, as if he could fight it. His jaw clenched like he was angry at his own body.
You watched him, softer now, no teasing in your expression.
Eunseok’s voice came out barely above a whisper. “You make it hard.”
Your hand slid up his wrist, grounding him. “Good.”
A breathy, almost broken laugh escaped him.
Then, to his own surprise, a tear slipped down his cheek.
He stood perfectly still as it happened—still a man, still composed on the outside, like he refused to collapse.
But the tear was there anyway.
Eunseok shut his eyes for a second, breathing through it. When he opened them, he looked at you like you were both his weakness and his relief.
“I hate that you knew,” he murmured.
You smiled gently. “I didn’t know. I hoped.”
Eunseok’s hand cupped your cheek more firmly, thumb brushing the tear he hadn’t even noticed was still falling.
“I’m not… going to beg,” he said, voice low, almost embarrassed.
Your eyes warmed. “I’m not asking you to.”
He swallowed, his gaze intense. “But if you want me—”
You interrupted, quiet but unwavering. “I do.”
Eunseok’s breath caught.
You added, softer, “I just wanted to hear you say it.”
Eunseok stared at you like he was trying to memorize you. Like he was afraid the moment would disappear if he blinked too long.
Then he nodded once—slow, final.
“Okay,” he said.
The word was small.
It sounded like surrender.
He leaned down slightly, forehead nearly touching yours. His voice dropped to something only you could hear.
“Then you’re mine,” he said, and it wasn’t a claim spoken lightly. It was a promise and a burden and a truth he’d been carrying for too long.
You smiled—bright, satisfied, soft. “Finally.”
Eunseok huffed a laugh, still damp at the corners of his eyes. “You’re… really something.”
You tilted your head. “So are you.”
Eunseok looked at you for a long moment.
Then he said, quieter, as if the honesty still tasted unfamiliar, “Don’t make me regret this.”
You touched his cheek, thumb brushing where his tear had been. “I won’t.”
Eunseok exhaled slowly, the tension in his shoulders loosening for the first time in what felt like years.
He didn’t kiss you. Not yet.
He just held your face and looked at you like he was trying to learn how to exist in this new truth without breaking it.
Then you held his wrist in your palm—soft, gentle, with a new set of nails that he paid for, a constant reminder that you are his—and whispered sweet words of temptation that ought to bring him to ruins.
”I want a kiss,” you demanded, doe-eyed and impatient. Eunseok almost laughs because he knows your impatience is his doing; never saying no to you and bringing you your every wants and needs.
But goodness is the world going to end before he denies you what you want.
The hand on your face lifted it to look at him—in control and steady, just the way he knows you like it.
He exhales, though, because despite the humor in this situation the look you gave him has his knees weak—heart thrumming and light headed—like a kryptonite to his heart.
And dear Lord, he wishes it’ll never end.
Gently, he guides your face near his—his thumb hovering over the lip gloss he told you was pretty back when you got it. He pressed onto your plush lips, curiosity overcoming the better of him, and all self control almost leaves him right there.
But that look in your eyes—that restless, agitated look that tells him to stop being so slow—oh he loves it. Relishes in it, in fact. So much so that he’s able to have enough self control to not kiss you there and then.
You let out a querulous whine, “Now, Eunseok, stop teasing me.”
He chuckles as if he isn’t trembling with a desire so primal to have you.
“We have all the time in the world, princess,” He mutters in retort, but who was he to deprive you of anything?
Finally, he connects your lips with his—
Soft.
Measured.
As if he’s afraid too much pressure might make you disappear.
Your breath catches, and for a split second, neither of you move. The world narrows to the quiet warmth between your mouths, the faint taste of lip gloss he once complimented without realizing what it would come to mean.
Then you tilt your head, just slightly.
Inviting.
Eunseok exhales through his nose, the sound shaky, and his hand tightens at your jaw. The kiss deepens—not rushed, not desperate, but intentional. Like he’s trying to memorize the way you feel against him.
Your fingers curl around his wrist.
He swears under his breath.
Because that tiny gesture—so gentle, so trusting—hits harder than anything else could. It reminds him that this isn’t a fantasy. This is real. You’re real.
And you’re choosing him.
His lips move against yours with more confidence now, still restrained, but heavier with emotion. There’s no hunger in it yet—just years of unspoken feeling finally finding a place to land.
You sigh into the kiss, soft and satisfied.
Eunseok’s chest tightens.
He pulls back just enough to rest his forehead against yours, eyes closed, breathing uneven.
“Happy now?” he murmurs.
Your smile is slow, smug, and undeniably his fault. “Very.”
He opens his eyes and looks at you like the answer was never in doubt.
Outside, the city kept moving.
Inside, the line was gone.
And Eunseok—steady, stubborn, controlled Eunseok—finally stopped pretending his heart didn’t belong where it had always been reaching.

I saw this tweet on my timeline the other day, and the first person that came to mind was Eunseok. These two specific pictures just fit the tweet so well.
I feel like Eunseok is the type of boyfriend to come home tired and drained, ready to just go to bed, but then he notices that you’re home, too. Now, walk with me: Eunseok has a yearner look to him, but even though he’s a certified yearner, he’ll make you fold first.
He would freshen up after getting home, then sit down next to you on the sofa. He’d manspread purposefully, touching knees with you (like in that first pic), trying to get your attention. When he sees you’re not paying attention because your focus is elsewhere, he’d just start looking at you like in the second pic, that look. Even though you’re distracted, it’s something you can’t ignore.
He’d get closer and just stare until you finally break and say, “I know what you’re trying to do.”
He proceeds to fake innocence: “Can’t I just look at my pretty girl?”
You scoff and smirk but go back to what you’re doing. This annoys him a little, but well, you’re doing this on purpose.
He decides he’s had enough and pulls on your arm and waist, making you straddle him. He doesn’t even give you time to think before his lips are already on yours. It’s not a calm kiss; it’s a kiss that says I want you, a messy one that leaves you both breathless.
♡︎ In my mind you would love Anton very much but being loved by him is being seen, being loved softly like a cold summer breeze at the beach watching the sunset kinda vibes?
♡︎ He would have an album dedicated too you. When people ask him “who’s ur partner?” He pulls out his phone and shows the album or pulls out his wallet with a poloroid of u smiling at him.
♡︎ Type of man to take candid pics of u and u would hate them but it’s the ones he loves the most cause it’s where he sees u genuinely.
♡︎ Type of man that would make his pfp a pic u took. And brags about it too.
♡︎ Anton is also the type of bf that would just love u loudly but in his own way? Like soft touches, random gifts: “I saw this cute keychain in the shop and made me think of u”.
♡︎ Has to have hands on u 24/7 or he will explode, linking pinkies, brushing hair out of ur face, leaving soft kisses on you when ur distracted.
♡︎ Type of man to update u throughout the day with selfies cause he knows you like them and he also likes getting compliments even though he gets a little shy… DEMANDS that u send him selfies too cause he’s having withdrawals.
♡︎ He also would fumble BAD over his words whenever he sees u all ready to go out, like ur looking insanely pretty and hot and whatnot and Mr fumbler over here would be : 🧍🏻🧍🏻😃 trying to get is words out but stumbling.
♡︎ We all know Anton loves music, so I see him as the bf who will do random playlists for u, and some of the playlists have hidden messages in the song titles? He’s attentive like that.
♡︎ Will 1000% have matching stuff with you, but subtle things; like keychains, a phone case, u name it.
♡︎ Also type of man that has a box in his room with everything that is connected to you, cinema tickets, cafe receipts from dates, poloroids...
The shy girl rd and her boyfriend Anton, who tried to convince the little girl to go to a noisy party. It's hard to refuse alcohol when it's from your boyfriend and his friends. And when rd gets so drunk she can barely open her eyes, Sungchan starts groping her. I just imagine Anton and Sungchan actually enjoying her together, carrying her to some empty room. It's hard for two hungry wolves to resist a defenseless little lamb. At first, I thought Sungchan would try to bet on whether rd was still a virgin, but Anton couldn't be sure either, so they'll just have to prove it by sleeping with her. The poor girl will surely be traumatized when she opens her eyes to find herself naked and lying between two men.

💌 dubcon/noncon (no p in v here!), asshole boyfriend chanyoung + sungchan, virgin reader, alcohol mentioned, intoxicated reader
skjdnfjebuius this is so good oh my gawwwwddd... this might be my first riize content here ever... hear me out 🫶🏻
chanyoung who has been crushing on your for the LONGEST time ever but was never reciprocated because you had a boyfriend. months long,, you finally broke up with him, and chanyoung immediately made his move. which worked—and that is how you end up where you are now.
alcohol is your biggest enemy—but it's hard saying no when you boyfriend (who's been nothing but kind and understanding and gentle), insists you to have some... his friends are also there, and you'd hate to embarrass him just because you can't handle a drink or two.
if only.
a drink or two became three and four cups. then five and six—and by the time you know it, you're being lifted up to one of the guest bedrooms with a red cup still clutched to your hand.
weird that it wasn't your boyfriend who picked you up... but his friend, jung sungchan.
"hey... are you sure she's a virgin?" sungchan whispered, his voice low and skeptical. his eyes flicked over to you sprawled out on the bed, top hiked just enough from the way you'd collapsed.
chest rising and falling in deep, unconscious breath.
anton sat on the edge of the mattress, his hand rubbing on your thighs. he swallowed hard, cheeks flushed. "i'm... not sure, man," he admitted quietly, glancing up at sungchan. "we never talked about it, but she said she's waiting for the right person or something."
sungchan snorted softly, crawling closer until his hand comes in contact with your bare waist. "waiting? c'mon, chan... girls say that shit all the time. look at her—probably been around the block more than she's letting on."
the friend reached out to brush a strand of hair from your face, his fingers lingering a second too long on your cheek. the boyfriend didn't tell him to fuck off.
"we could check, you know. just to be sure."
anton's breath hitched, gaze dropping to where your legs parted slightly in your drunken stupor. he shifted and hummed in consideration, hand travelling further up until the fiddle with the buttons of your shorts. "what if she wakes up?"
"she won't," sungchan murmured, the end of his lips curved into a smile as he tugged down your shorts, just enough to expose your clothed cunt with wet patch beneath. both boys held back their breath—your pussy twitched.
"fuck, look at that. maybe she's telling the truth."
sungchan glanced back at anton, eyes dark with intent. "your call, boyfriend. you wanna find out for real?"

[r/UnresolvedMysteries] the emails between yn and her captor the police never released. posted by u/[deleted] • 2y ago
ive been debating whether to post this for days now. i know how this subreddit can be when it comes to so–called “leaks” but im not doing this for attention. i need someone to see what i found before it gets buried again.
my bestfriend’s older sister, yn ln, went missing in late 2011. for nine months, the family begged for updates, called every day, followed every lead but the police did nothing. i know because i would accompany the siblings to the station and join communities that were searching for her (because the police refused us to participate).
they claimed to be “actively investigating”, but half the time they wouldn’t even return calls. even until now, we have a feeling that someone higher up didn’t want them to dig too deep.
it wasn’t until late spring that they finally found her body. the official statement was that there were “no signs of foul play”, which makes no sense. the location alone (in the official statement stated to be in the lake, read:suicide) but it was actually in an abandoned property miles away from where she was last seen.
they barely let the family in. they weren’t allowed to see any post–mortem photos, no details about the state she was found in (which i will tell more on this). it was just a short statement and a rushed ID at the morgue. the police said they needed to “preserve the evidence” but they never shared what evidence that even was.
adding on to it, if they said they needed the body for “evidence”, why did the family later find out she’d already been taken to be buried at a cemetery hours away from where she lived? they didn’t receive the death certificate until a few months after.
to respect yn ln, i won’t get into details on the state she was found in, but there were numerous marks all over her body. hits, burns, bites, scratches, and light cuts were everywhere but her face. she had full makeup on and was just dressed in a white oversized shirt, undergarments, and a pair of black socks.
the way her body was found was—she was left abandoned in a narrow gutter, on top of a stack of hays, and covered with a piece of blanket. her bruises were cleaned, some cuts were sewn, and covered with decorated bandaids.
official cause of death was undetermined, but given the state she was found in, we’ve always believed it was foul play and most likely asphyxiation. there was clear bruising around her neck, darker on the windpipe.
the family, which only consisted of a younger brother and the mother, brought this up to the court to fight for justice and rights to get proper explanation and truth. but the more they pushed, the more resistance they got.
calls went unanswered, documents “went missing”, and even their own lawyer always took a rain check whenever the date was nearing. they were told to move on and stop digging and while i never got the full explanation from my friend, one day they just stopped.
i didn’t understand it back then. i thought maybe they just couldn’t handle it anymore and wanted to make peace with her loss but now looking back, i think someone must’ve made sure they couldn’t keep going.
the reason why i’m doing this reddit post is to commemorate my bestfriend and his older sister, yn. i’m not going to get into the details, but he’s gone now.
this folder that i’m about to share to all of you is some of the old email archives that we managed to hide back then before the whole inbox was wiped away.
between yn and whoever took her.
although it’s been years and nothing in this world could ever bring back the victims, i hope this serves as a record of what really happened. it’s not a lot, but there’s no use of keeping this any longer anymore. i’ve only removed personal information for privacy, but everything else is exactly as it appeared in the archive.

hey baby.
i’ve been thinking about you again… i know you said you needed space, but i can’t help it anymore. it’s been almost a week since you shut me down :( and everything reminds me of you lately… i keep seeing your face everywhere and i think i’m starting to get delusions of you.
i swear i see you on my bed. when can i come over again? i miss you and i miss our little kitty and i miss sleeping on your bed and cuddling your pillows. they always smell like you. everything smells like you.
you’ve blocked me everywhere and as much as i hate it, i’m going to try and understand for you ok? you can unblock me if you want, but you can also email me.
i love you so much pretty baby.

hi lovely.
you didn’t come to work today? everyone was saying you called in sick, but i know you weren’t. sick girls don’t get online on facebook hehe and go to convenience store at midnight for some snacks.
i know because i saw you. didn’t you see me? i was wearing a mask and a grey hoodie but i queued behind you. you bought a cup of noodles and chicken sausages. i told you before that those aren’t healthy, didn’t i? if you said hi, i would've brought you to a proper restaurant and driven you home.
but i guess you were still a little bit mad…? i hope it won’t last long, though. i’m fucking itching just to see your pretty face again.
do you feel special? i told them i was just visiting the department today, but that wasn’t true. i only went because i wanted to see you.
if you’re really, really sick, get well soon ok? i left some medicines and hot food by your door so make sure to eat :))
i love you so much pretty baby.

hey baby, what gives?
you didn’t answer my last two emails (and still haven’t unblocked my many numbers). are you really still mad about what happened?
i already told you i didn’t mean to scare you. i just wanted to talk.
you always shut me down on my advances so i took the initiative to come to your house like the nice boyfriend i am, yet you slammed the door in my face. is that really how a girlfriend should act? isn’t this kind of childish? when are you going to stop it?
you can’t keep ignoring me like this. it’s not fair when i’m the only one trying to make things right between us. don’t you think a good relationship should be about effort from both sides? you said once that you liked people who cared—and i do. maybe too much sometimes, i know, but that’s how you know it’s real.
so please, stop making this harder than it needs to be. just talk to me again.
i love you.

is this how it’s going to be? you think ignoring me makes you right? that’s not how it fucking works, sweetheart. you can’t just pretend like nothing happened and hope i’ll disappear. i’ve done everything for you and you still treat me like i’m some stranger bothering you.
i know you’re reading this. you always fucking do. it’s about time you stop pretending like you’re scared of me and start admitting you like the attention. because if you really didn’t, you’d have quitted and moved a long time ago.
i’m respecting you by not coming up to your doorstep and your department so stop fucking ignoring me and reply to my fucking texts.
i don’t want to be angry, but you’re making it really hard not to be.

funny how quick you are in changing your mind. you never really bothered with things like this before. is it because it’s cheaper to change codes than keys? because you finally realised how many people have a copy of yours?
i’m not mad. i think it’s cute that you’re taking your safety more seriously than before. it’s still kinda dramatic to have both passcodes and thumbprint but i’ll give that to ya. you’re always so fucking scared all the time.
anyway. nice code—0612, right? bold choice to put your brother’s birthdate. cute.

all because you couldn’t keep your mouth shut. i never once hurt you. i never laid a single finger on you, i never yelled at you, i never bothered you. no nothing. all i did was care too much. if you think you’ve successfully made me back off with this, you’re dead fucking wrong, yn.

i transferred a little something to your account ♡ consider it my way of making up for all the stress… and the scare lately. i can tell ok? i know things have been rough since our little misunderstanding happened, and you quit, but you don’t have to worry anymore.
i’ll take care of you, like i always said i would.
i’m sorry for the last few emails that i sent… the one where i accused you of cheating. i just had a really, really bad day… so it really fucked me up when i saw you (finally) but like that… someone’s arm around your waist, replacing me for a little while… have you been lonely? i don’t know what you’re thinking of, but i hope it’s just to make me jealous :( it worked ok baby? so you can drop the act :))
i’m sorry if it scared you… but you know me hehe. i don't even know i would be capable of doing something like that :/ it sounds so scary, doesn't it? anyway,,, enough of that. how’s unemployment treating you? fun, isn’t it? you get to spend more time with my future family in law and our kitty hahah. enjoy it to the fullest and just use my money whenever you need to.
i also send some extra for the family. your bother’s entering middle school, isn’t he? all grown up now. don’t bother trying to send it back, i didn’t send through my bank number, so it’s untraceable. just keep it, buy something nice so you can show it to me soon.
don’t have to thank me. i already know you’re grateful.
i love you all the time.

you really moved out? i went to your place but again, the same neighbour told me that you’re still away. so i went down to the lobby and they gave me the landlord’s number after a bit of convincing.
is it true? you packed up last week? that you didn’t leave a forwarding address but an envelope with the rent balance and your keys? why the fuck didn’t you tell me? i could’ve paid the rest off and helpe dyou move out. why are you keeping things from me?
i guess congratulations are in order. you finally did what you always threatened to do. finally have the guts to do so huh.
don’t worry love. i’m not mad. i get it. sometimes you just need to start over.
i still have your spare key, by the way. should i mail it to your new address once i’ve found it, or will you come get it yourself?
reply me.

bad day again today, yn.
everything keeps going wrong lately, and i cant even tell if its bad luck or just karma for how you’ve been treating me. did you curse me?
i keep thinking if you hadnt gone to the cops, things wouldve been fine. dad kept asking me if im still in contact with you but he has zero fucking idea that a bitch like you has done blocked me long time ago. fuck you.
we were fine before you started all this. we were doing good before you decided to be a fucking pussy and ignore me everywhere. weren’t we good before you started running?
i wonder what happened between us that got us to where we are right now. are you happy? are you proud? you got what you wanted and im the only one who looks crazy.
you ruined everything, you know that? i used to wake up with a reason and now i cant even do any of that without thinking about you. i cant do my fucking job because of how bad it got. i cant focus, cant even breathe without feeling sick to my stomach. all of it because you wanted to play victim.
why wont you come back yn? if you do, i promise i wont bother you anymore. we can start over, cant we? its still not too late. i promise ill treat you good. i wont come by your office anymore if you dont want me to. ill stop making copies of your keys and and wait by the bus stop and call your number anymore.
i just want you to know that everything i did, i did because i love you. you know that right? its not wrong to love someone this much.
come back. ill make everything right again.
email me.

found you.
i didn’t go in ok? i just stood across the street and watched for a little while, like in the movies, you know? when the hero stares at something that belonged to him before it was taken away. why do you look so happy? did you lose weight? anyway, you look cuter, standing there with the curtains drawn.
still the same ritual, making tea every night but in a different room.
i still cant believe how i found you… ill tell you how since we’re a couple. no secrets, right? they needed your new address for the company’s record to update on payroll and insurance! i don’t even remember what excuse i used, but the hr girl was too nice to ask questions. i think i told her my dad needed it for your housewarming gift (but it’s actually from me).
i didn’t think i’d actually find you so soon. but i guess when it’s meant to be, it will be right? no matter how far you run from me, no matter how many lakes and seas that you swim across, no matter how many planets in the galaxy you tried to hide on. i’ll always find you.
you can’t undo what’s already ours.
i’m still a little mad, honestly. i can’t believe you could just betray me like that. packed up and left the town we made so many memories together. i can’t see myself living where you’re not there. maybe i should move here too? be closer to you? what do you say?
you know what, yn? i’m so mad that when i found your street name, the first thing that came to mind was how i’m going to talk it through with you. like, i’m going to tell you that you shouldn’t do this to me and our relationship. that you should’ve just talked it out.
but you were never the listener type.
so here’s what i’m going to do when we meet real soon. ill tell u ok?
first, ill make sure that the front door is locked, and the curtains are drawn closed. then, ill ask you why but i can already picture you screaming and telling me to get out, so thats not really good... i think for once, some violence needs to be used here.
you understand, right? ill have to hit you so you can shut that fucking bitch of a mouth for a while while you lsiten to what i have to say. if i slap you, and still you wont shut up, ill bang your head against the wall so hard youll start seeing stars and birds.
if you decide to talk back, or throw a tantrum, i dont think youll like what ill do to you then. ill punch and pinch and hit you so hard youll get a black eye and a cut on those pretty lips. maybe ill break your nose and jaw too, if you want it so bad. stuff that bratty mouth with my socks. you wont like that.
once you shut up, and im done scolding, im thinking of breaking those wrists and fingers of yours. why? because theyre so… ignorant. those fingers blocked me didnt they? those same fingers didnt reply to my emails or my texts or pick up my calls. those same fingers signed the moving paper and typed out your two week notice.
if you cant use your fingers, youll be helpless without me.
and those legs of yours. ill break it too. cut off your achilles so you cant fucking move forever. break those legs so youll be immobile and useless. ill paralyse you, you fucking bitch. youll be so fucking useless that you wish you were dead instead. ill paralyse you so you just stay on the bed, while i bring home the goods for us.
i fucking hat eyou yn. i fucking hate you and your guts and your mouth and that pretty good for nothing face of yours. youre just an ungrateful cunt.
fuck im fucking fuming. if im really, really mean, ill kill you.
you know what ill do if i decide to kill you? ill tore your fucking lungs apart… ill dig my nails into your flesh, right between your breasts where the spot is soft and nice and squishy and ill pulla nd tear your skin apart. ill bash your head against the floor until your brain is all mushy and fucked up and you dont look like the girl i love anymore. ill bleed you ugly.
i know i promised you i wont touch you, so im keeping that promise ok? i wont touch you like that. not in the way youre so afraid of. rape, isnt it? youre scared of being rape, right yn? scared of having your virginity taken away. scared of being tainted and dirty and filthy. scared you wont feel safe in your own body anymore.
youre scared about the wrong thing,, because the only thing you should be terrified of is me murdering you.
im not that vile. im not a rapist.
im not done yet. ill let all my anger out by carving my name all over your body, bite your flesh. i wonder how you taste like. are you as sweet as you seem? lovely? i think you are. im sure you are. you're my sweet lovely girl.
it sounds so scary, right? but i dont think you have to worry, though… i dont see myself doing any of those to you. so its best if you just listen to me when the day comes ok? i miss you so much. i never knew its possible to miss someone this much.
also, you look so cute in your pyjama :) its not the one i bought, though.
sleep well tonight my love. its quieter in this neighbourhood. i like it.

i’ve been thinking… maybe i really have been too much lately. maybe i scare you away, and that’s on me.
yn my sweetheart, i’m really sorry.
can we make it simple? i’m done playing games. i haven’t been proud of how i acted and i don’t want to keep being the reason you sleep with the lights on. i want a clean slate, if you’ll let me have one.
if you’re willing to try again—if you’re willing to forgive and actually try to fix things between us—come to the [redacted] cafe by the park today at 5pm. that’s all. i’ll be there and i’ll wait one hour only. no more.
if you don’t come, i’ll take that as your answer and i’ll walk away for good. no more emails, no more surprises, no more knocking on doors. i promise. i’ll stop everything.
this is your and our chance to make it right. i’m giving it to you because i still care and i love you so much. i want to prove to i can be different. i love you, please. give me a chance.
come if you want to try. don’t come if you want me gone. the choice is yours.
i love you so much pretty baby.

that’s all.
after the last email that was sent on august 2nd, there’s no follow ups anymore. we suspected that she was kidnapped sometime around that period, but there was no cctv in the neighbourhood as it’s an old area, barely any security systems (around the area) back then.
for what it’s worth, yn had already registered a new email sometime after may (after the third email). the one these messages were sent to wasn’t even active anymore. she created a new one and abandoned the one the emails were sent to for her own peace and safety, as per advised by family and friends. when we went through her old inbox, every single one of them was still unread.
truth be told, i’m grateful she didn’t read any of those. the way the person described what he was going to do to her was beyond horrifying, and while we failed to retrieve the other emails, i could only imagine what the rest of them contained.
the police said they never found whoever wrote the emails. the address was made through a proxy, and the sender used multiple VPN routes and temporary devices. so it’s ‘impossible’ to trace the origin.
if you ask me, i don’t think he’s smart or patient enough to do things like that. i think the police were just too lazy, and they wanted to shut the case down. it’s bullshit that you clearly had solid evidence and still wiped the gmail clean because it served “no purpose” to the investigation. they said there was nothing new they could pull from it, that it was just old correspondence.
that inbox was probably the only thing that ever told the truth that could unmask the captor and the killer of yn ln.
Top Comments:
[u/sparebones] if she stopped using that email in may, and last message was sent in august… he was basically talking to no one for months. that’s so messed up.
[u/seoululite] VPNs and proxies can totally be traced if you try hard enough. i know its been years but do you perhaps have the original email?
[u/deleted OP replying to u/seoululite] not anymore. even copy pasting these emails was hard enough as it is. we were in a time crunch before the police came and had to hide whatever we could.
[u/throwaway_99384] all the details that he was going to do to her sounded pretty realistic. i wonder if he acted up on it. was there any of the injuries (that he said in the emails) to be in autopsies?
[u/deleted OP replying to u/throwaway_99384] yeah. a lot of broken bones and one of her achilles heels were actually torn and cut. there was also a cut at the back of her head and joints.
[u/cold92] this is honestly one of the most disturbing things ive read on here. i cant believe the cops just wiped the inbox. that’s destruction of evidence. what did they tell you guys about this?
[u/deleted OP replying to u/coldtears92] believe it or not, my friend wanted to take a look through her browser history but since her laptop and all her possessions were taken away, we thought maybe the home PC or router logs might show devices connected. this was all we managed before the police swooped in.
[u/parathoax] why was this kept hidden for so long? if you’d spoken up earlier, maybe they could’ve reopened the case or the internet would’ve helped somehow. i don’t mean this in a blaming way. why only talk about it now?
[u/deleted OP replying to u/parathoax] we were 12 at most and no one took us seriously back then. the trauma and the way the police lied to the family really messed everyone up. at one point when we tried to bring it up again, the mother had fallen into severe depression and was constantly on the watch in case for any self harm doings. by the time we were “old enough”, everything was gone and all that’s left are fragments we managed to copy.
[u/deathnumber4 replying to u/deleted OP] but cops arent allowed to discard evidence, no matter for how long. this sounds like a set up especially since it’s only been 10 years. if they could reopen cases from the 90s, why couldnt they for this one?
[u/lilidiors replying to u/deathnumber4] that’s what i thought too. digital evidence was apparently corrupted and irretrievable. someone must’ve definitely wanted it hidden.
[u/yvampyr] damn. my condolences towards your friend and his sister… this isn’t “unresolved”, this is just them not wanting to solve this. i hope the family will get justice and i hope youre doing okay
[u/deleted OP replying to u/yvampyr] thanks but i could only imagine what the family must’ve felt. i’m not even blood related and it still haunts me sometimes, especially when i think about how easily this could’ve been prevented if the police actually cared. i only know yn from how i see her whenever i’d come over, and she’s honestly an amazing sister and person. the period after she quit her job and stayed with her family in july, we never even knew she was getting all these threats and emails.
[u/bambigals replying to u/deleted] is the mom holding alright? there’s usually a therapy session for families of missing victims.
[u/deleted OP replying to u/bambigals] no she’s not. she stopped showing up to therapy around 2017. i think she just… gave up. the family was never the same, but after the loss of my friend to suicide, she’s been in and out of the hospital for many reasons. i stop by every now and then to help her around.
[u/hencheri] why is this my first time hearing about this case? was it ever covered in the news at all?
[u/deleted OP replying to u/hencheri] it was covered, technically. there's a tiny local segment around three minutes long that they framed it as "runaway teen situation" (even though she was not a teenager) on mbc late-night news program.
