Rintori Week 2017 Day 1: Childhood or and Future First part is essentially Rintori trought the two series. The second part is a mix of my various headcanon:  - Rin go to Australia for training  - They have a long distance relationship  - They skype A LOT but isn’t enough  - During his second year at university Ai decided to go to Australia  - They live together in Sidney  - Rin realizes his dream to go to the Olympics  - After that Ai and Rin got married  - Years after they adopt a child  - And eventually they come back in Japan.

Headcanons about Ai’s family

RinTori Week 2017 Day 5: FRIENDS or FAMILY

We know nothing about Ai’s family, but I have had strong headcanons about it for a while now! Aaaand as a huge RinTori shipper, I’ve also imagined how Rin fits in. Feel free to discuss these with me if you’d like.

The family

parents are still together

one older sister, no brothers (Ai’s name translates to first son of love)

a dog

both pregnancies were highly expected and appreciated

warm and loving people

…of course there’s some bickering too, tho

can get a bit too caring (read: nosy), which frustrates Ai sometimes

like ZERO PRIVACY

not super rich but wealthy enough to send their son to Samezuka High

they all try to eat dinner together as often as they can

everyone calls Ai by his full first name (which means the nickname Rin uses feels extra special to him)

Mother

the most loving mother in the world

Ai shares a lot of her facial features and her hair color

keeps reminding Ai about the importance of valuing oneself

worries a lot and has perhaps coddled Ai a little bit too much, hence Ai’s tendency to be shy and get scared easily

but Ai has recently started acting more independent, not wanting to bother her with his problems because he knows she would worry too much

was a bit worried about Ai starting competitive swimming at first because “honey, I just don’t see you as a competitive person, are you sure about this?”

still cheers Ai on and is immensely and loudly proud of him

…sometimes to the point of being embarrassing

was endlessly happy to hear about Rin because “oh I’m so happy you’ve found someone you love”

like, really, really happy, crying-tears-of-joy happy

immediately tells Rin to call her okaasan/mother

Rin is a bit intimidated by her at first because she talks a LOT

but Rin gets used to her bubbly personality soon, partly because it reminds him of how Ai acts when he’s in talkative mood

Rin doesn’t even realize it when he eventually starts calling her okaasan/mother

Father

calm, laid-back nature

but can also be strict and a bit scary when he doesn’t like something

supportive of Ai’s swimming, has also done sports when he was younger

tall-ish and traditionally masculine

but has never tried to force Ai to be manly in the way he is

didn’t even blink at the “dad, I think I’m gay” talk with Ai

has taught Ai to never suppress his feelings because feelings are good

Ai acts a lot like his father when he becomes the captain

at first Rin finds it hard to talk about anything else except swimming with him

but they end up in surprisingly close terms, they like hanging out

Rin subconsciously sees him as a father figure

Sister

three years older than Ai

they don’t look that much alike, as she takes after their father while Ai takes after their mother

except for the hair color, they both have their mother’s hair

more independent and loud by nature than Ai; the sass master of the household

she used to be really protective of Ai when they were kids because Ai was very shy and would easily get teased by other kids

now that he’s older, they tend to bicker often because Ai wants to be independent and doesn’t always appreciate the way she “just shows she cares”

…meaning she lovingly teases Ai a lot; her favourite subject is cute boys because it gets him flustered

but in all seriousness, if anyone actually bullied Ai she’d kick their asses in a second

tells Rin to treat Ai nicely OR ELSE

never skips a chance to remind them to use a condom

which Ai gets really embarrassed about at first and scolds her for butting into their business, which she only laughs at

but she keeps doing it until the boys just learn to ignore it

(although Rin totally asks her to lend him a condom once when he forgets to buy some; he does it secretly from Ai though because the poor boy would probably die of embarrassment if he knew)

The dog

a female brindle cairn terrier

a very terrier-like personality; brisk and bright

was adopted to the family around when Ai was three, so she played a big part in Ai’s childhood

has always been closer to Ai than to anyone else in the family

…which makes Ai sad about missing out on spending time with her while he’s away in high school

always runs to greet Ai first when he visits home

in the back of his mind, Ai is constantly worried because the dog is eventually aging while he’s gone and he dreads the day he’ll have to go home without seeing her there

Just Talk

Chapter one, “Blue Balls”

Summary: Rin and Ai are finally together, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still idiots who think about erections too much. Sequel to my rintori week 2016 fic, Ai, That’s Gay.

Making out with Ai felt good. Like, really, really good. At the moment. Unfortunately, it did nothing to stop Rin’s fantasies. If anything, it was worse. Now he knew how if felt to touch Ai. He knew how Ai’s skin felt under his hands. How Ai’s arms wrapped around him. The surprised noises he made whenever Rin slipped his tongue into his mouth, despite how many times it had happened. The way his hands clenched in Rin’s shirt when Rin gently bit his lower lip.

And, worst of all, how Ai’s erection felt pressed against his back.

Rin lay motionless in bed. As usual, he awoke first. It had been three weeks since Ai had first kissed him. And they had kissed everyday since, with Ai eventually falling asleep next to Rin more often than not. Of course, Rin wanted more than that, but the last thing he wanted was to scare off his… Was Ai his boyfriend? Could he use that word already? They hadn’t talked about it. Whatever. He didn’t want to scare Ai off. So he contented himself with kissing and running his hands over Ai’s shoulders and back.

Ai shifted slightly in his sleep, bringing Rin’s thoughts back to the moment. Right . Erection . Rin was fairly certain he had fallen asleep on his back, but at some point he must’ve rolled over, as he was now on his side with Ai pressed up against his back, breathing against his neck. Rin bit his lip, trying to ignore the urge to press back into Ai’s warmth and grind against that boner. Of course he wanted to do more than grind against him. His mind filled with images of turning around, pulling down Ai’s pajama pants, touching him, moving down to take Ai in his mouth… Fuck . Rin had been so focused on Ai’s dick that he hadn’t even noticed how hard his own was until his hand subconsciously reached his own pants.

He could not jerk himself off here. Not with Ai right there, innocently sleeping. Beautiful, pure Ai. What if he woke up? He would freak out. He would realize how wrong this whole thing was. He would hate Rin. He would realize his mistake. He would end everything. He would tell everyone. He would leave.

Calm down, calm down, calm down . Maybe if Rin thought about something else it would go away.

Ai groaned behind him and started to move. Shit . He was waking up. Rin bolted out of bed and was reached the door in a flash. “Rin?”

“Bathroom,” Rin responded, refusing to look back. It was still early enough that the hall was empty. He reached the bathroom without anyone seeing him and locked himself in the stall on the end. He pulled out his dick and silently prayed nobody would come in until he finished.

Ai was still blinking the sleep out of his eyes when he heard the door slam behind Rin. As consciousness reached his brain, Ai realized a major problem: he was hard. In Rin’s bed. Facing where Rin had been sleeping. Ai must’ve rubbed up against Rin in his sleep… And Rin left in a hurry.

Of course Rin ran off. Rin might seem cool and mature, but Ai knew him better than that. They had been making out for weeks and Rin still didn’t touch him anywhere lower than his waist. Not even as low as his waist–his shoulder blades. Ai wanted Rin to touch him. He himself touched Rin plenty more than that. He was always the one pulling Rin closer, his hands wrapping around Rin, running down his back, caressing his hips, running down his thighs and up his chest. And Rin was always the one insisting that they get some sleep just when it was getting interesting. It had taken a week before he convinced Rin to let him sleep in his bed (by pretending to be too sleepy to climb the ladder).

Well, that was all for nothing. Now he had scared Rin away because of damn morning wood. It would be back to his own bed tonight. At least that thought caused him to deflate enough to get dressed so he could go get breakfast. He could decide what to do about this on a full stomach.

The Coming of Summer, Day 1

Day 1 - Childhood // Future

There was a place, just barely inside the castle grounds, where the prince would go whenever he didn’t want to be found. The first time he’d gone, the palace had broken into an uproar searching for him, until he showed up still sniffling and angry, for dinner. He’d earned a scolding and a week’s confinement to the castle walls, but his hiding place had remained a secret. Years and years and lifetimes disguised as years later, there was only one person who had ever found him.

“Thought you might be here.” The branches that covered the little entrance to the bower lifted aside and a knight came crawling through, his livery bright in the gloom under the branches. The prince didn’t answer. “C’mere, Ai,” said the knight, opening his arms.

Aiichirou crawled across the space that had seemed so much bigger the first time he’d found it, climbing into Rin’s lap and closing his eyes as arms wrapped around him and pulled him close. He allowed himself the tears he had kept stifled since the conversation with his mother that morning. “Rin, I-” he sobbed. Rin shushed him gently with a kiss or seven peppered across the crown of his head.

“I know,” he said. “The captain briefed me a few minutes ago. It’s going to be okay.”

“How?” Aiichirou wailed. “How is any of this going to be okay?”

“The same way it always is,” Rin replied. “I’m going to see you through it.” When Aiichirou didn’t answer, Rin sighed and reached up to pluck a barely-formed flowerbud from the branch above them. He held it in front of Ai with a smile. “Remember the first time I found you here?” he asked.

Aiichirou sniffed and accepted the bud with a smile of his own. “That was the day I asked my father to assign you to me,” he said.

“When they bloom, I’ll make you another crown. And you can preserve it and keep it in your weird little collection, and every time you look at it you can remember that I will always be your most loyal subject.” Aiichirou closed his eyes and hummed under his breath. A pale blue light and the scent of rain filled the little bower. When it faded away, Aiichirou held a single, perfect bloom in the palm of his hand. He sat up on his knees and tucked it into Rin’s hair.

“I don’t want a subject,” he said seriously. There were dried tears on his cheeks and pine needles in his hair and the truth of who and what he was hung heavy across his shoulders. “I have thousands of subjects. The future will come when it comes, but in the meantime, let me pretend.”

So he did. Rin let Aiichirou pretend there were no physicians, no advisers calling for political unions, no throne waiting for its next occupant. In the bower on the edge of the palace grounds, they pretended they had all the time in the world.

RinTori Week 2017 @rintoriweek-2017 Day 3: POLICE OFFICER & PHANTOM THIEF or PRINCE & KNIGHT

The first batch of the amazing pictures we got last weekend in Popcult Helsinki! I’ve cosplayed Ai many times before but now my OTP dreams came true as I finally had Rin-senpai as my companion. ♥

We got to photoshoot in an actual former prison, which was an incredible location!!! Stay tuned for more, we will probably spam a lot.
