Typical Brazilian gangster genre movie. That’s why it’s completely not relatable. Because it’s not American, it’s not Italian, it’s not at least Indian. So what do you expect from a Brazilian gangster? Samba, football and coffee business, right? Certainly not. In the heart of the ‘City of God,’ the precious powder was coke. You know what it is and it is what it is. The movie started at an audible tone of voice which you probably can’t avoid. But some of the things in the movie, you can avoid. That’s quite a problem I faced to keep up with the story sometimes it was boring and you had to go through those parts to complete the puzzle. The story is quite local and you’ll get the exact view of what goes down in the snake-like Brazilian streets. If you’re in search of organized crime thriller then it’s not the one because what I’ve seen the story is about little troublemaker neighborhood imps becoming the worshiped Gods of the city. The story is quite amusing, Events are worth watching, acting quite thrilling. But even putting all these together I don’t think it’s that much good.
