I asked another Luke fan this but I want your take 🙂. I know Luke had the potential to be a great dad (its kind of sad that so many people think he would have been a toxic/abusive dad) but would you write Luke as more of a girl dad or boy dad? Not in terms of favoritism really but in terms of which sex it would be easier for him to parent or which he would have a softer spot for? I feel like we didnt see too much of his relationship with Percy so I see him more as a girl dad type.

When I do write fan kids (which is rarely), I purposefully stay away from revealing the sex of the children.

Luke would be a great dad. It doesn't matter what the child's sex would be; especially when you consider that he's been parentified since meeting Annabeth at fourteen (if not Thalia at twelve) and then raising the kids in cabin eleven and at Camp Half-Blood in general as he gets more responsibility around camp.

I’ve spent wayyy too much time thinking about what color Percy and Annabeth’s kid’s eyes would be. (Eye genes are weird and green and grey eyes are both rare/recessive????) but this is Greek mythology and nothing is supposed to make sense in terms of genetics so take this: their child’s eyes change color based on which grandparent’s traits/powers they are exhibiting

When deep in thought, reading or drafting battle plans, their eyes turn an intense, focused grey

When swimming, water bending, talking to horses/fish and singing (siren relation) their eyes turn a vibrant green

Annabeth gives her child some building blocks to play with and watches storm clouds roll into their eyes as they stack the blocks

Percy gives his child a bath and watches as they relax into the water and their eyes shift to match the depths of the ocean the hopes to take them someday
