BEFORE THE BUDDIE SHIPPERS OR FANS WHO DON'T REALLY TREAT EDDIE AS A EQUAL CHARACTER yes it actually really sucks there was no resolution from their mini fight from halloween BUT the festival and ofrenda episode was actually really fucking beautiful with la llorna singing in the background especially in this political climate were latinos are being targeted and taken/kidnapped from families so can we appreciate for what the episode gave us. (also this being a buck and eddie focused episode was pretty slay even tho they def should have interacted more)

Sometimes I see these booktok trends that sometimes seem to be about buying pretty books and more or less not reading them, and then I think about my abuela who spent a significant part of her life with a collection of Sade novels on display in her living room because she bought the bookshelf with the collection of pretty books in it and kept them for decoration but never knew what was in there because she didn't know how to read French. Crucially, my brother (age 12) and I (age 10) knew how to read French. Anyway

I'm choosing to believe that Tim Minear killed off Abuela as some sort of fucked up equivalent exchange.

He decided that he's gonna bring Bobby back to us. But in return, he was allowed to kill off someone from the recurring cast that the audience cared about. And he decided to go with our dear Abuela.
