omg your ghost reader au strip made me so sad😭😭 i have to ask, is there a continuation? do sun & moon remember them/what they did? does the reader get to speak to them again or is it all angst no comfort?? agshjahslk sorry for the bombardment but i'm so curious what u think! :0

idk if i'll write anything for the idea, but the general au is angst as a whole jhjdhjs mostly it's about Sun and Moon slowly getting sentience back and struggling to make sense of the bits and pieces of memories they have, and trying to track down that quiet, sad, but somehow comforting, stranger they only ever catch glimpses of

if i was gonna try to give it a happy ending,, maybe i'd go for a "ghost-reader-possesses-an-animatronic-that's-going-to-work-in-the-daycare" thing?? or if i wanted to go sadder i'd say the boys never fully remember anything and Reader's ghost haunts the Plex for years to come, forever lonely and longing for the happy life they never got to have

So me has an itty bitty question on ghost y/n story.... who gave the fatal blow? Vannie or moony.... just wondering for research reasons 👀👀👀👀

If you want an in-depth explanation of the scene,

Vanny has been terrorizing the halls of the Plex for a notable amount of time. Reader, who was previously close enough to Vanessa to notice changes in her behavior, confronts her one night, blocking her path as she walks the backstage halls. They try to ask her what the heck she is doing, why is she acting so strange, why is she doing this, they know she's doing something related to the recent missing cases, no, they won't get out of the way, you have to listen to me, Vanessa-

And Vanny strikes with a knife. Reader is shocked that she would actually do this, and tries to turn away, tries to retreat to somewhere so they can call someone or get away or something, but end up collapsing against the wall before they get very far. They're bleeding out. Everything is swimming. The light is smearing into the shadows. They watch the vague shape of Vanny pass them by without stopping.

Moon was only a few steps behind her. He paused, looking down at Reader- Reader's head is full of memories of working in the daycare, of late shifts spent simply sitting and talking and laughing and enjoying the company of the daycare attendant, memories of someplace where they are warm and safe and loved- then he turns away, following Vanny without so much as a blink.

Reader succumbs soon after. Later, Moon cleans up the blood while Vanessa takes care of the body.
