Across the Pond (Rhea Ripley x Toni Storm x Reader)

Being back in Florida was a relief. It had been a nightmare being stuck away from Rhea for so long. You were glad that you’d been with Toni, but the two of you had sort of been miserable. Neither of you could wrestle and you only got to see Rhea over Skype or Facetime. Now though, you were back in the United States and the two of you would be transferring over to NXT from NXT: UK. 

“She’s over there,” Toni said, tapping your shoulder. You turned to where she was pointing and that was when you saw Rhea. She was holding a sign with your name on it and Toni’s misspelled below it. The two of you walked over there with your suitcases and greeted your girlfriend. 

“I missed you so much Y/n,” Rhea said and Toni stuck her tongue out at Rhea. “Toni, you could have stayed.” 

“Whatever asshole,” Toni scoffed. Rhea let go of you and kissed Toni’s cheek. The three of you walked out to Rhea’s car and then went back to what would be your house. 

“Well, welcome to Florida,” Rhea said and you smiled at her. She pointed out a few different spots and stores on the way back to her place that she believed were the better ones to go to. When you got to your new house, both you and Toni immediately went to sleep. Neither of you had gotten a wink of sleep on the plane ride and the sun was barely rising anyways. 

Rhea woke you up a few hours later to go in for the show. You and Toni had become a well-known tag team at NXT: UK and tonight was the show where NXT would be unveiling its NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. There would be a match at the next Takeover to see who got to hold those, so until then, you’d enter a feud with Rhea. She was cutting her promo when you and Toni came out to interrupt her. 

“We get it, Charlotte took your title, Io has it, and you want it back. We’ve been hearing it forever, move on,” you said as you stepped into the ring. “I’ve got news for you, you’ve got new competition for that title.” 

“The two of you?” Rhea asked and Toni nodded. “You’re not competition. They just got bored of you across the pond.” 

“We’ll see what you’re saying when we beat you next week,” Toni told her. The two of you turned around and walked out of the ring. You turned at the last second and winked at Rhea as you gave her a patronizing wave. This was definitely going to be an interesting feud.

Rhea sat backstage in a chair, Toni on her lap. It was before Raw and Toni had came to hang out with her girlfriend. Since WWE still had no audience, Kate couldn’t join them but texts were exchanged constantly.

“Hey guys,” Violet walked up, Raven on her hip. Raven had a stuffed snow leopard clutched in her hand and she was babbling to it.

“Hey Vi, hi Raven,” Rhea said, her voice turning into a cooing baby voice she used around her niece Emmi. Raven looked up and smiled, babbling more. Toni melted against Rhea, who had a huge grin on her face.

“Violet! Is that your daughter?” A voice called out. Violet looked up and a smile burst across her face.

“Eva, hey! Yeah. This is my daughter, Raven. Raven, this is my old friend Eva, can you say hi?” Violet said. Raven babbled more as Eva walked up, wrapping an arm around Violet before gently shaking one of Raven’s hands.

“So I heard you have a match tonight,” Violet commented. Eva smiled slyly.

“Not exactly….” She said as a familiar figure walked up. Toni jumped off of Rhea’s lap and ran, engulfing Piper Niven in a huge hug.

“Piper! It’s so good to see you!” She exclaimed. Piper laughed, hugging Toni back as Rhea stood.

“Hey Piper,” the former NXT and NXT UK/current RAW women’s champion said with a grin. Piper grinned back, pulling Rhea into a hug.

“It’s good to see you, champ,” she said.
