💟 - What do you look for in a person?

Whether I’m seeking a friend, an authority figure I can trust, or a boyfriend, the first thing I look for is a strong will and the tendency to think for oneself. That’s...pretty hard to find, a lot of the time, and it...scares me, if I’m brutally honest - always did, but especially now after what I saw in the heart of Mementos. 

I also look for a caring nature, as a close second - I don’t want to get involved with someone whose independence is going to just turn into selfishness the moment I blink. I pay especially close attention to how someone treats animals - how someone treats people tells me how they’ve been socialized, but how they treat animals tells me how much inherent value they see in other living things. If they’re extremely kind to both animals and plants, there’s a good chance I’ll end up liking them.

As far as friends go, shared interests and/or willingness to try out new things that might become shared interests is an important one.

And as far as partners go...well, I found someone pretty much perfect, so why not just look at him?
