Joost x Football fan gn!reader — SFW headcanons (slightly suggestive at the end tho)
Edit: @joostglazer has told me that Joost is in fact a Football fan! (which I didn’t know 🫣) I’m still gonna leave these headcanons here tho, use the power of imagination to pretend he’s not a big fan :P
• Joost is not really a big Football fan (in his own words: he used to dance on the football field. Our boy’s a born dancer). So of course he doesn’t care too much for it… until he starts dating you
• You, on the other hand, love to watch the games and get really hyped while you do, which Joost finds the cutest thing
• Sometimes he’ll be lying on your chest and you’ll yell at the screen, startling him slightly, but he’ll be quick to giggle and join you in your yelling, even if he’s not paying attention to the game. You yell, he yells
• After a while of you two being together, he starts paying attention to it and trying to understand, just because he knows how much Football matters to you
• He starts asking the names of the players with the intention of memorizing them and what’s their role in the team
• You explain it to him and one day he surprises you by having learned everything
• Only for you to tell him a certain player isn’t on the team anymore, another is on the bench and that the coach changed, making him all confused again
• He eventually gives up on trying to understand, settling for just listening to you yap about the whole thing - he finds your enthusiasm cute
• If you also play Football, he’ll be your biggest fan, your little cheerleader
• He goes to your games every time he can - like you go to his concerts - even if it’s just a game with friends
• You’ll look over towards the bleachers and there he is: big, precious smile on his face. Doesn’t matter if you’re losing or winning, he always has that encouraging smile
• Kisses during breaks!!
• “Hey baby, just getting some water, I gotta go back to the game” followed by a long kiss to his lips. You eventually go back to the game. Water forgotten
• Victory dances from your cheerleader
• Picking him up - or trying, at least - while you’re in that euphoric state of having won
• If you lose, however? Doesn’t matter to him. He’ll always find something positive to say, like how well you controlled the ball or how you almost scored, if it wasn’t for the stupid goalkeeper… or how sexy you looked
• Joost definitely loves seeing you in your Football outfit. Those shorts that accentuate your ass… He couldn’t help but admire the way it you moved during the game
• And he loves how sweaty you get, how he can feel it when you hug him after
• Needless to say that a shower is not the first thing you’re taking once you two get home
