i havent posted this here for some reason. this is my rivulet design inspired by lotuses to my event based on their design (i was an organizer :] ). i spent a lot of time on them! the other options without little render (water thickness) n the backround will be below.

As soon I finished reading the Rivulet description, I imaginated a scene where she was tasked to babysit Hunter kids and then, when him is out of earshot, she dumps a bunch if spray cans on the floor and screetch to the kids: "WHO WANTS TO MAKE THE UNCLE HUNTY DEN A LITTLE MORE PRETTIER??!!!", which the kids, after then initial shock, exclaim "YAAAAAAAAAY!!"

When sex was/is happening on King's Menace/Lucky Noon, do they (King/Noon) just kinda figuratively put a sock on the door and walk away? Also - Does it affect the ship's experience at all when their captain is fuckin', or is it like, the equivalent of getting an unparseable txt file?

The short answer is that whether the ship gets involved varies wildly and depends how everybody's feeling that day, the long answer is under the cut

(I probably don't have to say it, but to be very clear Maggie wasn't involved in any of this.)

King's Menace was younger and more interested in the animal experiences of their passengers, and with Gideon being such a whore for novelty and also a whore in general King probably got directly involved in his debauchery frequently. They were a lot more generically harsh than Noon is, to match the old crew also being run by someone more cruel and careless, so unless they were directly asked by someone on the crew to ignore them they'd usually Intervene in some capacity just out of curiosity for what might happen; messing with the lighting or the air quality, fucking with the physics in the room or the surfaces, MAYBE directly interacting with bodies but that might have been reserved for Gideon because he was sturdier and they could communicate better before he got really hurt. King absolutely scared some of Crow's dates out of the house though. I think Jo and Raven opted to be left alone for their sappy married mage sex, but I genuinely can't decide whether I like the idea of them partying with everybody else or being so arrogant and focused on each other they wouldn't care for it. Dealer's choice.

Noon is wayyyy more mellowed out and any raw curiosity for this has almost certainly been sated already, and also their feelings got hurt and they're really grateful to just be sailing with anybody again. They're much more considerate with our guys. Our guys are also generally having less sex lmao. Especially right now while it's still early, Noon probably sees themself out if they can tell it would be appreciated, or they at least don't do anything to remind anyone that something might be observing. Lucky Noon is a lot more Above our crew than King was with theirs and doesn't really feel interested in pushing anybody yet besides Phineas, and even then they can tell she's early in her arc still. Currently they're sort of letting her come to them at her own pace, which she is, although so far it's mostly relegated to weird commander sex again rather than too much physical stuff. They like her though and whenever it does eventually come up it'll probably be fun for both of them. They do have a little bit of a fascination with picking on Ulrich, which I think has some fun potential, but right now Noon is kind of waiting for everybody to get settled into their own relationships before adding themself to the pot. The old guard had all their dynamics well figured out by the time they got the ship so it was easier to just fill in the gaps.

For the second part: Noon and Phineas are Aware of each other at least a little bit all the time, but mostly it's nebulous emotions rather than physical sensation because, usually, Lucky Noon doesn't have a physical body to feel it. Barring the times they manifest specifically to experience something, unparseable txt file is pretty accurate. They do psychically communicate in very abstract ways while Phin is on board but it's sort of like when you have a thought you don't put words on. If captain is getting laid somewhere else and having a really good time about it Noon would be able to tell what the garbled txt file was dealing with at least, and if captain was getting laid while on the ship they'd know enough about it to be a brat and cause problems on purpose If They Wanted.
