Day 2 - Moss

The Sword of St Nehellenia

The Lady Nehellenia of the Aedred Island, sister of the Archqueen Consort Nehendra, led a violent rebellion against the Archking and His annexation of her Island home… Though she was unsuccesful, her relationship to the Archqueen Consort spared her from a swift execution.

Decades later, in an attempt to subdue a second rebellion on the Island, the Lirran Church of the River Realms would claim she had been a holy warrior who fought not for the freedom of the Aedred Island, but for the faith of the mainland River Realms, and canonised her as a Saint, claiming that she had become a Sister Votary in the newly constructed grand temple to Lir on the Aedred Island.

In reality, Nehellian had chosen to live in exile, throwing her famous Brightbrass blade into the sea before disappearing. Rumours abound about her fate, most commonly it is said that she became a powerful Pirate Queen in the faraway lands of the Dragons Teeth…

To this day many treasure hunters search the waters around the Aedred Island in hopes of finding her famous sword…

Day 1 - Shell

The Blade of the House of Nestrys Narhalwysel

The Royal House Nestrys-Narhawysel of the Gates. A Coastal and Island Kingdom of the River Realms that has been closely aligned and intertwined with the Archroyals of the River Realms since the marriage of Princess Ophelia Nestrys-Narhawysel to the first Archking, Lothair the Melusind.

The blade was in fact forged for the Princess Ophelia when she was given the position of Gatekeeper (the River Realms equivalent of a Fleet Admiral) of the fleets of the Gates.

The inscription on the blade is of the motto of House Nestrys-Narhawysel styled in ancient Yarerin Elvish and reads: “ren velharim, naha yr mor”. It is translated as “Across the Sea to Victory”.

The blade itself is made of Brightbrass, an ancient alloy of brass - the manufacture of which has been lost since the Disruption…

5. Nemia Hewster of Aedred, Hero of The Realm. Forewarner of the First Nevarran Invasion

Born in the Year of the River 828 in Gwyluin on the Aedred Island. Died Year of the River 912 in Gwyluin.

Nemia Hewster was a textile artist living and working just outside of the port city Gwyluin on the Aedred Island. She is credited as being the first to warn the Lords of the Aedred.....
