feeling like the weather was on his side today, joshua went out of his place and decided to do some picture taking, anything from the atmosphere to profiles, and anywhere in between. clad with a black and red plaid shirt and black ripped jeans and his worn out sneakers, he grinned as he took in his surroundings with his camera in his hands and his phone and wallet in his back pocket. korea was a beautiful place indeed.
the nineteen year old had been walking and taking pictures for a couple of hours and his initial energy had depleted while he was on his adventure. spotting a park nearby, he finished snapping whatever he had previously seen as he walked towards the green grassy area, ready to take a small break before continuing about his day.
eyeing an empty bench underneath the shade, joshua swerved towards it, sitting down immediately as he took in the scenery; from children playing on the structures to owners with their dogs to people having picnics. he was snapping the damn near ethereal moment, when one of the strangers caught his eye.
now normally, he never really took pictures of people unless he honestly felt that he should and it was a rare occasion; this was one of those rare occasions. the nineteen year old immediately took a couple of shots of the stranger doing their own thing before getting up, approaching them. “hey there. can i have a minute with you for a second?”, he asked in somewhat decent korean, hoping that they understood him.
ever since his first vlog a month and a half ago, seungcheol had become increasingly interested in making more of the different style of video. he didn’t often have anything interesting to say, however, which was a considerable issue considering that’s exactly what he’d be doing, but nonetheless, he would find things to say eventually — be it updates about videos, his life, interesting days out or logging performances from the beginning of creation to the end of the final product. but the one thing seungcheol really wanted from these videos was for them to not be.... well, boring.
whilst seeing someone in their element, in their home, is a warm (and quiet) environment to do these style of videos, it seemed awfully boring to seungcheol to make every one of these videos trapped with the same views behind him — especially with such a beautiful city on his doorstep. after the experience he’d had with his previous update videos, spending so long trying to find the perfect spot, he decided for upcoming vlogs, he needed to plan in advance, and that’s what he was doing today.
the weather was lovely, the atmosphere good, his mood strong, as he walked through the streets and parks, jotting down usable, pretty locations in his notes on his phone. currently, he was wandering through a park he hadn’t visited in a while, browsing around the landscape. he probably looked lost.
his thoughts deep in camera angles and lighting, he hadn’t heard or seen the other boy approach him until it was too late. his voice was soft, but it made his entire body jump in fright, as he meets his gaze with wide eyes. “o-oh! s-sure. sorry— a-about that. what’s up?”
