Roach x mactavish fic idea where they aren't like official but like literally everyone knows they are together....even a mole. Mactavish following the wrong lead. Who sent his men into a trap that he should have known better than to do. Now he's looking at the faces of his injured men and none of them are Roach. Mactavish found out from one of the injured men that Roach, for some reason, was grabbed by the enemy. Like he was a target but why on earth would they target him? Almost like they know too much about his relationship. Mactavish interrogating every single one of his men. Roach waking up tied to a chair with people speaking a language he doesn't know and a piercing headache. Mactavish negotiating with the enemy with information that he doesn't have. Just desperately trying to ensure roach's safety. Mactavish finding and attacking the base that he believes roach is at, only to find a body too mutilated to even be able to determine if it's roach but why else would a man be stripped and tied up here? Mactavish having a silent breakdown on the way back to base only to see roach eating food like a wild animal while his wounds are poorly bandaged. "You took too long" roach says between bites. Or something idk I'm not a writer
