Day 2 of OSCE
Only 2 stations for today, pero dapat 3 kasi may Cardio-Pulmo Evaluation pa. But our proctors/ professors decided na maging pure PT1 nalang yun dahil bibisita ang CHED sa university.
Station 1: IPC (Intermittent Pneumatic Compression)
Patient has an edema in the ® lower leg
◘ Apply IPC. State parameters
So far it went well, pero nung bandang huli nakalimutan kong tanungin if nangangati ba yung pt ko or not. I also forgot that IPC reduces the edema on the pt’s lower leg. The photo inserted above ↑ is actually wrong ‘cause the leg that has edema and would be treated by using the IPC should be elevated 45° high. Nakakatawa actually to kasi kinabahan ako dun sa facilitator kasi siya din yung nagturo ng IPC and I was scared as hell na baka magalit siya kasi siya na nagturo tapos mali padin ang ginawa ko. But so far nakahinga naman ako dun kasi pasado padin ako haha beyond the passing grade at least.
