Henderhop - My absolute favourite Stranger Things ship but that should be no surprise to anyone if you've been following my blog. I adore it, I am one of it's biggest defenders, and I think it was such a waste of potential.

Jancy - I am a Jancy warrior and defender for life. It is my favourite canon couple on the show. I think they fit so well together and I think Charlie and Natalia have unmatched chemistry. Forever mourning Jancy.

Muzie - Transfem Mykie x Suzie Bingham. I know people are going to be raising their eyebrows at this and I honestly don't have time to unpack it but it genuinely means the world to me and I love them.

Byclair - Absolutely obsessed with this dynamic. I think they would be so adorable together. Their few scenes together in season 5 rocked my world and even if S5 was shit, I got Byclair out of it. MY preferred yaoi.

Elmax - Don't even talk to me about this one I'm still in mourning.

Joyren - LESBIAN MOMS LESBIAN MOMS! I wish this ship was more popular in this fandom, I really adore Joyren. It boggles my mind that people prefer to ship Joyce with someone other than Karen but I love wlw a lot.

Willumax - THE BEST outcome in my opinion because while I love Byclair so much, I also really love Lumax, and I think exploring the Will and Max side of it (platonically or as a weird nebulous thing) would be really fun too.

Lumax - No one is shocked.

Binghop - What can I say, I really love both El and Suzie as characters and weird girls uniting is everything to me. I have an entire fic plotted out in my head about them.

Robali - I need people to hop on the Robali train yesterday. How are y'all not seeing the grumpy x sunshine, cool reserved girl x bubbly loser girl potential.

do you ship any kali ships besides stali? just curious!

Yes, but I'll be honest. Stali owns my heart, mostly. That's basically my ultimate Kali pairing. I've come around to a few, though!

Robali is one I see a lot. It's personally not my taste so I don't consider myself a Robali shipper per se, but I can absolutely see why people like them. And I'm always for giving Robin as many girlfriends as her heart desires. Robali shippers, you are very valid.

Eddali/Deathmetal (the name I've made for them) is one I can see working pretty well. I feel like their dynamic is better suited for poly dynamics as opposed to solo, but I couldn't tell you why. But I think they have the potential to be really sweet.

Kargyle is where we start really cooking. It's such a crackship and I don't typically take this one too seriously but I fr think they would be a cute opposites attract type relationship. I need a rom-com style fic of them falling in love (actually no no one do it I'm gonna do it myself I literally just decided).

Jonali is also really interesting! I can see them being really cute together. I think what holds me back from engaging with much content for them romantically (outside of this really specific polycule idea I have in my head) is that I'd love to see Kali join the Hopper-Byers household. I think regardless of if their dynamic is familial, platonic or romantic they would gel really well together and I'm mourning that we never got to see them interact.

Now we get to my #2 Kali ship. I've seen most people call them Kalancy, but I prefer the name Punkpistol. I absolutely fucking ADORE them. They are so so important to me. I think they also have so many complimentary traits and would've worked so well together. Both traumatized and turning that trauma to action, specifically against those that hurt them. Maybe not always the healthiest (toxic yuri on TOP) but truly good for each other at the end of the day.

In my perfect world, a lot of these pairings would just coexist in a polycule setting. But alas, my dreams are currently just dreams.

If any of the Kali shippers outside of Stali and Punkpistol wanna send me asks basically making a case for your ship of choice (even if it's not listed here) and why you like it, I would LOVE to read. I really need to be able to SEE the vision before I can form a full opinion on a pairing. Unfortunately, there's just such a deficit of Kali content period in the fandom (though it's gotten a bit better since S5 and her return) so its really hard to find content for her ships, which is how I connect to ships in the first place.

Please at least attempt to convert me. At worst, I'll still feel pretty neutrally about it BUT be happy to listen to someone ramble about one of their faves (it's like a bump of coke I stg). At best, I get to give my girl a new toy to play with /lh
