It’s wild how a robot with Roboenza would sneeze, like—why?
Anyway, I sneezed while drawing this, and now I'm concerned my art has a virus...

Here is the trailer for this fic I've been cooking up for the last year and a half! Somewhere in Time is a glimpse of what's to come in Powerslave! Take a look for yourself!
Rocktober Day 3: Virus
TW: graphic imagery (kinda…? Like allegorical blood.)
I would’ve kept this one’s scene as a script but I feel like it loses its impact without anything to make it into a story.

Metal Man was up constantly at night, and it wasn't from reading. He'd turn in his bed as steam rose from the cracks of his metallic body. Everything inside him hurt. It was like whatever was in his body wanted out.
Sometimes, he did try to force it out and ending up vomiting oil into the nearest trash can until nothing else would come out. It wouldn't stop there and he was stuck in his bed for days, not coming out. All Metal did was say he wasn't feeling well which was enough to get people to leave him alone, but over time he stopped answering anyone.
The bot tried to get out of his bed, steam spewing out of him, but his foot was caught on the blanket and he fell onto the floor. Not much he could do but continuously try to move. .
By now a month has passed and his body finally gave into the seering pain and agony it stabbed into him. An empty husk now, but it still stood up from the floor as if he was completely fine now. His mouth plate was put back on and red eyes flashed danger.
A loud eruption came from his room and a hole was left. He escaped and immediately tried to attack the nearest thing he could find that held power: a museum.
Did some doodles today! The first one is a Armorless/Pre-Robot Tournament PlantMan!, the other doodle is a megaman oc I made sometime ago, her name is Rosalina! She was PlantMan's cousin! ( her aunt made PlantMan, just to clarify ) she was scene girl! And was very up-beat and feisty! Sadly she died when Dr. Wily infected some Robot Masters with the Roboenza Virus and attacked the city she lived in, her death set a chain of events that lead PlantMan into becoming a actual Robot Master.
Now that Roboenza is over this means I get to write a drabble of Blues being infected 8D
It didn't feel like much at first. Forte did bite him, but it wasn’t deep and certainly couldn’t have gotten into his systems. There was no reason to bother anyone about that, right?
Wrong, apparently. He was moving sluggishly, processing everything slower, feeling a familiar pent up rage grow larger; he got away from Sharp’s base as soon as he felt it was too much. This was just going to be him overheating again, so Sharp didn't need to deal with that. Though, instead of feeling tired as usual, there was a growing urge inside him to keep going. He needed to do something. His ever growing anger against the world told him the best way to get rid of this horrible restlessness was with destruction.
That’s okay, he knew a few good places to get anger out.
The night passed by slowly. Blues scanned the deserted town with his red eye, searching for a sign of life. There was none, he was safe to rip the place apart. He began with blowing structures to pieces. A smirk grew on his face as pieces of what used to be would fly everywhere. When rapid fire became a bore he went on to throwing his shield. He threw the unbreakable shield at a target with all the strength he had, and usually it would either get stuck or bounce back towards him after leaving a nasty dent. But the longer the night passed, the harder it was becoming to focus on just one structure. How could he destroy one thing when everything was a target? His body reacted as if he was overheating, but he couldn’t stop.
The sun crept up over the hills as Blues let out a breath, smoke rising out of his mouth as he did. He did one final scan of the town, not that anyone would be able to tell it was one anymore. What now? The need for destruction was far from gone. A thought came to mind before a large grin came onto the prototype’s face.
Who was a better target than useless copies? Roboenza was made to spread, but Blues couldn’t let the Sniper Joes get off that easily. Not when it was twice as satisfying to rip them apart. They were only Joes, after all. How long it’s been since he left Sharp’s base, he couldn’t remember. It was irrelevant to what he was doing, which was destroying every last thing in his path. Fight after fight with anyone and anything made him weaker, damaging multiple functions. Teleportation was useless, but he didn’t need it.
Finally something happened after a while of being ran away from. Rockman must’ve heard the news of him, for now the heroic ‘bot was here and begging him of some stuff. Words were just words. Blues took no time to run straight for him, blasting shot after shot at his replacement. Rock grabbed onto him before teleporting them both somewhere. He looked around at nothing but trees. Rock had taken him somewhere he wouldn’t be able to hurt anyone but trees. He turned to his copy.
“What the hell?!” He screamed. Rock looked as if he was on the verge of tears, he couldn’t end Blues. He gave a sad look, and just like that he was gone. Blues was alone with nothing but trees. He must've been somewhere between the city and Sharp's base. Either way, it only meant more frustration for him. He let out low whistle, scanning the area for any form of life. With a moment of silence for the first time Blues realized just how many warning signals were going off. The pain seemed distant. It didn’t matter, after all. The plan he had subconsciously formed was that he’ll kill everyone and everything, and then he’ll die. It made sense for the time being.
Once again, he scanned the area. This time around he was granted exactly what he wanted. Some idiotic mech was approaching him. He got in battle stance, for anyone all the way out here was either sent by Rock or extremely lost. It didn't matter in the end. As soon as the figure got close enough, he shot a few charged blasts. The shots landed on trees. The bot only came faster. Blues eventually threw his shield at it as he continued to fire shot after shot. Nothing seemed to be hitting the exact mark, which had yet to attack back.
A loud screech came from behind him, making him jump in surprise. This had to be an ambush. The first robot was just a distraction. He charged up his buster and turned his attention behind him, expecting the worst from the robot who got off the motorcycle. Sharp. He was yelling something, not that Blues cared. A deadly look was in the broken ‘bots eyes as he carefully aimed at the tall version of himself. One of his most powerful shots will take him out. A grin spread across his face as the shot was fired.
It hit the top of a tree and nearly exploded multiple tree tops around it. His own shield had come back to knock his arm off aim, as well was disabling it.
Blues fell, and behind him Forte recharged his buster. They were speaking to each other now, yelling something back and forth. The prototype didn't really care enough to pay attention. His systems were crashing, everything was glitching, he could barely focus on standing back up. They were over him now. He heard nothing but ringing as he opened his mouth, trying to beg them to put him out of his misery.
His own systems forced him offline.

Slowly, she began backing away. She needed coordinates to teleport to safety, and only had the Wily Fortress pre-saved into her system. That wouldn’t exactly prove to be helpful at a moment like this.
“Do not underestimate me. I am made to defend myself.” She just needed to type in the coordinates. If she changed the latitude numbers she would end up somewhere random, but at least not in the middle of the sea. “Besides, we would need a more proper place to fight. You cannot ruin the lab, and you know it.”
