Soundwave! For the character ask please?

Do I like them: I do indeed; he’s not one of my top favourites but I do find him to be quite an interesting and enjoyable character. IDW Soundwave is probably my favourite because I think the whole thing about how his extra-sensory abilities give him a unique perspective that alienates him from others to be really interesting. TFP Soundwave is great as well because his aesthetic is amazing and he somehow manages to have personality despite not talking or even having a face. TFA Soundwave is cool because I thought the way they handled his origin was a really interesting approach. I don’t know much about Shattered Glass, but everything I’ve seen to do with SG Sir Soundwave is hilariously amazing. 

5 good qualities: Loyalty, determination, compassion, competence, self-control.

3 bad qualities: Loyalty, hypocrisy, fanaticism.

Favourite episode/etc: I really love that moment in Transformers Prime where the Autobots have captured him and are trying to interrogate him, but Soundwave is just

Best quote: I can’t remember what issue it was or how it read exactly, but there’s a piece of narration in one of the IDW comics where Soundwave is describing how his abilities shape the unique way he interprets the world and his relationships with others that I found really fascinating. Alternatively:

Head canon: It took him until 4 million years after the war began to actually telepathically test whether or not the organics he was helping wipe out were sentient due to a mix of blind, fanatical belief in Megatron’s doctrine, not actually being posted near organics all that often, and him taking time to refine his abilities to the point where he could detect organic thoughts and feelings.
