This sequence from "TORTOISE WINS BY A HARE" is (in my opinion) one of the best scenes in an animated cartoon. Rod Scribner was a perfect fit for animating this scene and gives so much character and perfectly demonstrates how Bugs Bunny is feeling. To this day, it still amazes me.

Obviously we need cartoons to look more like this, not merely the overdone “rubber hose” style. Why imitate most artists that era of cartoons rather than “the Golden Age of Hollywood”; huh?
