What do the characters think of each other? Im quite interested about their dynamics. You can choose who to include in this, since there are so many to choose from, but I need to know their thoughts.
ouhhh i can't go over absolutely everyone, but suffice to say, the general overarching feeling between most of the team mates on either side towards both their teammates and their enemies is RESENTMENT.
Slipstream resents onslaught for poorly using her abilities, Deadlock resents Hot Rod for being one of the faction leaders' 'proteges' like he is for megatron and getting what he views as better treatment, ambulon resents the decepticon faction for ruining his chances of being a proper doctor, the list goes on.
Surface level, most of the autobots get along, but internally, they feel deep levels of resentment at their various circumstances.
take for example a dynamic we see a lot of in chapter one: Hot Rod and First Aid.
Hot Rod is a mercurial creature. He exists as an oxymoron at times, a very chill boss who is generally likeable and decent to hang around, while also being the most hotheaded and impulsive strategist any of the team has EVER worked under, while also being deeply miserable and upset about his place in the world.
First Aid is a capital P PROFESSIONAL. He is great at his job as a doctor, efficient and skilled. He's generally polite when not under duress, he can do the small talk and the water cooler chats, but he is a very Chilchuckian on the clock off the clock 'talk to my union rep' kind of guy. He likes his privacy and he works very hard to keep his personal life and feelings to himself, and keep his work separate from that.
But Hot Rod is a lonely guy with no official Second in Command, and First Aid is the most reasonable person on base, and so he, against his will mind you, becomes hot rod's go-to guy for bouncing ideas off of. and first aid DOESNT LIKE THAT ONE BIT. In the first chapter, when FA is complaining about stuff not being his job, or seems resentful and a bit mean, its because he is resentful, and while usually when not under duress he'd be able to be polite, as i said, the second things pick up, Hot Rod is making him be EVERYWHERE THAT HE SHOULD NOT BE. When there is trouble afoot, a medic should be IN THE MEDBAY to be PREPARED TO TREAT INJURIES and Hot Rod being Hot Rod would rather have him around passing orders and reporting back to him.
It doesn't help that this also extends to Hot Rod's personal issues! He tries not to open up very often, but he also can't really help himself. He'd never gone fully in depth about anything, but First aid *is* the one he goes to for advice, when truly, First Aid wants NO PART IN THAT. They are COWORKERS. And things are MUCH EASIER when Hot Rod doesn't try to be friends, because First Aid is anal about privacy and wants nothing less than to have anyone poking around in *his* personal life, and he sees being buddy buddy with hot rod as a dangerous step closer to his personal emotional bubble.
TL;DR- First Aid has embarrassing likes and interests and a personal life that he wants to keep separate from his work, and just wants to clock in and do his job and clock out. Hot Rod keeps trying to get personal because he deeply respects first aid's opinions and levelheadedness, especitally when he is feeling lost and needs guidance. First Aid has complex feelings about that, most of them being VERY negative.
