Kyle’s Role

I have a suggestion for what Kyle gets up to in @saccharinerose ‘s Lonnie as She-ra AU. So he defects with Lonnie and Rogelio either in the beginning, in the Sea Gate episode or after the No Princess Left Behind episode. He then retires from combat and becomes a royal chef, or a gardener, or an artist, or a stable hand. Pretty much anything that does not require him to see combat again. He was never very good at it and maybe he can finally find something he is capable of doing. I also ship him with that recurring Plumerian character, Seneschal. They’re ship name would be Seneskyle. This is also what I think should have happened in canon instead of them just leaving him there. Let me know what you all think.

I feel like Catra would make a good Tarzan (feral kitty) but I’m not sure who’d make a good Jane. It’d probably be either Adora or Scorpia, and I feel like they’d each fit for different reasons.

I actually might do Rogelonnie for Tarzan tbh. I feel like people view Lonnie as overly aggressive so they might not agree with her as Jane, but in the s3 finale we saw her being really friendly and stuff, so that could work, and the inherent language barrier could really fit them. I don’t really feel like Catra embodies Tarzan’s character, he’s a real noble type I think

Shippers and ableism

So that Rogelio and Lonnie artist ships them.

Why do I feel a strange sort of relief now concerning their ableist talk about how Kyle (and thus implying others like him who are “pathetic”) should have been aborted?

Is it because I can just wave it off as “shipping war nonsense”?

Or is it because its been a while since reading that triggered a panic attack in me as a I was displaying trauma symptoms similar to those the creators unthinkingly gave Kyle? And I’m in a better place mentally now

Either way, I’m still gonna try to avoid this artist.
