Fun Facts: 3, 7 & 13 for ririka and kitty
3. What are some items they always carry? Ririka: candy, lipstick/gloss/balm, pain medication, notebook, pen, pocket knife (here) Kitty: there's this meme but most importantly I'd say a rubik's cube and eyelash glue. And a water bottle decorated with a bunch of stickers.
7. What languages do they speak? Ririka: linguistics are part of the N7 program, so whatever's included? I'm assuming they teach/mainly focus on the official languages from the council races. I think her first language is Galactic* since she grew up on Mindoir (her parents immigrated from Earth but I think the official language there could be a space one? idek). Extra fun fact but outside of ME I had her speak English, French, Japanese, and Russian Kitty: probably just Galactic fluently and some of the standard asari language at the level of someone who took classes in high school * I'm looking language up and Galactic might not being a thing but I vaguely remember a line referring to it? I'll assume it's real for now lol
13. What would their favorite ride at an amusement park be? Ririka: probably just the swing ride or anything uncomplicated that goes in a circle; she's not into rides and those are the only ones you can get her to go on Kitty: bumper cars or a scary roller coaster. Also those trains or little roller coasters for little kids just because she thinks they're cute lol

3b for emilia???
I’m sorry I got really carried away and this turned into vent art somehow and I wanted to do a background again so, here we go! Whoever sees Em like this must be very close with her.
Emily ended up in the Big MT accidentally with Cass, after both wandered into that old drive-in while drunk one night.
Lesley has a somewhat similar experience while messing around the Capital Wasteland...
She wasn’t drunk tho, this stuff kinda just happens. Commence Charon’s No Good Very Bad Week TM
Also I’m so sorry took me months to get back to you I literally had no creative spark for this until today 🙏🙏🙏
Do you know where exactly the Dragonbone wastes is? The wiki seems to say its both in western Amaranthine and far to the south of Thedas (I could be reading this wrong), but if it's in Amaranthine, is there anywhere else that makes sense besides the peninsular that Blackmarsh is on?
On the map at least, it’s closer to Highever than Amaranthine...
🖊 Valerie!!
omg, dude, I am SO sorry, I know this has been in my inbox forever, but life’s been just kind of ugh. I’m just supposed to ramble about her, right? I don’t actually remember so that’s what I’ll do
Kind of angsty and a little spoilery for some future posts I’ve got up my sleeve, but the jacket that Valerie wears while traveling to Nuka World used to belong to Cait.
Valerie scavenged it from a pre-war military bunker, and patched it up. She gifted it to Cait, because Val noticed she would shiver when the temperatures dropped and the chilly coastal breeze swept in. At this point, Cait was too guarded to admit when she was freezing her ass off, and she figured Cait wouldn’t accept such a gift openly. So Valerie simply left a note attached to the finished coat when she left it at the foot of her bunk in Sanctuary. Even as the two of them grew closer to each other, it was never explicitly brought up, but it always made Valerie smile when she noticed Cait wearing it over top of her vest. They really started to open up to each other after that. She still loved her other partners very much, but the two of them had an inexplicable and tender bond.
Over a year later, the final day of the war against the Institute came. After the final push above ground, Valerie began assembling her strike team in the Relay Room. Cait argued tooth and nail to be a part of the team, until Valerie finally relented. She was hesitant, having lost the previous love of her life back in Vault 111 only a few years ago (from her perspective at least?? It was just over 60 years, but she was re-frozen) but she knew that Cait could handle herself well in a fight. After all, the first time Valerie had met her, the two of them beat the shit out of each other inside a cage while a drunken crowd cheered on and placed bets. And with the modifications Valerie had made to the coat, and the armour Cait had strapped onto herself, flimsy Synth pistols would have hardly left a scratch.
Unknown to the strike team, the Institute had been developing new weapons, intended to deal with the armour worn by the knights and heavies. Only a few steps into the Old Robotics wing, and Valerie’s team found themselves under fire. The synths were outnumbered, and the fight ended quickly. But upon checking for casualties, Valerie spotted that dark green coat slumped over on the ground. Valerie ran to her, jabbing stimpaks around the wounds, but there was so much blood, and Cait’s eyes were already glazing over. Dogmeat tugged at Valerie’s sleeve to pull her away, and some of the soldiers were already scrambling to take the body back to the Relay Room.
After the Institute surrendered, there was a memorial service for the fallen. When Valerie returned to the home she’d made for herself in the Red Rocket station, she found the jacket on the register counter, patched up and washed. She choked when she saw it, and broke down when she read the note attached to a box of Cait’s belongings, which suggested the collection of items and the restoration of the coat had been a team effort of the other companions. (one barely decipherable line read “Sleevs wer too ripped, sory human’’)
For a while, Valerie refused to wear it, not wanting to rid it of Cait’s scent. But when her pip-boy picked up the strange signal beckoning her to an old theme park, she couldn’t leave without it. So she put it on, said some farewells and see-you-soons, and headed west with Dogmeat and her eyebot Charlie to keep her company.

24 & 46 for both o:
Thank you! \o/
24. Do they express their emotions freely or hide their true feelings?
(Answered here for Nate! :D )
Nora knows how to play nice with people she dislikes. Of which there are many. A social elite, she’s strategic about her outward appearance and good at building contacts across the Commonwealth. It’s as much a survival tactic now as it was before the War. She was raised into a world of heavy expectations and snubbing her nose at the wrong person could jeopardize her career. That being said, Nora is very clever and no passive ‘smile and nod’ politician. When she maneuvers into position to challenge a rival openly, she goes straight for the throat.
Those who hold her affection see a much more genuine side. Nora’s father finally realized his daughter was in love with Nate when she started letting Nate see her without makeup on. She has a deep capacity for caring beneath her tough outer shell, and can even be quite poetic around people she trusts.
46. How do they sleep? Are they picky about where and how or can they sleep basically anywhere?
Nate can sleep rough anywhere but is picky about how safe it is to sleep at a given location. Outside of settlements, alone he dozes only as long as absolutely necessary to stay on his feet, squirreled away under cover. With any companion that also needs rest, Nate will sleep in shifts. The only way Piper can convince him to sleep simultaneous with her on the road is if they have a third set of eyes to keep watch. Usually, that’s Dogmeat. In all of these cases Nate will also set up tripwires.
Nora has a tough time getting used to sleeping arrangements in the postwar world. As a law school graduate and mother to an infant, sleep deprivation certainly wasn’t a new challenge. But tattered lumpy mattresses and thin sleeping bags offended her sensibilities and took some adjusting to. She’s not as strategic as Nate about where she sleeps, which has led to some unpleasant surprises like waking up to a radroach scuttling around her feet and a lot of screaming.
