The sea was beautiful. It sparkled in the sun, hiding both dark secrets and wonders under its surface. And Lethe wanted to swim, to sink beneath the waves and feel the water on his skin--but he stayed far away from the waves, instead walking along the beach. It scared him, the water. It brought back memories far too painful to be fake. It reminded him of the cool liquid filling his lungs, taking his breathe, and leaving him to sink into the sea--
Shaking his head, he walking along the beach, rather enjoying the view instead of terrifying himself. It wasn't long before he reached a cove by a cliff, it was his favourite place to go.
No one knew it existed, and he had found it purely by accident. It was dark, but the water shimmered in a pool, almost glowing, and it lit the walls with blue. It was silent, peaceful, and it was where he went when he wanted to b alone.
Except today, there was someone else there. Someone he had never met before. His initial thought was to tell them to get out, that is was his cave--but that's just ridiculous.
"Hello?" His voice ran out through the cave, louder than intended.

"Oh...?"
A myriad of people seemed to be gathering, didn't they? As a daughter of a Knight, she was used to such situations, as she had often been forced to various social events, but that didn't make it any less daunting. Nevertheless, she had a duty to attend to, and damned if she wouldn't try to make a good impression on them!
"Hello!" She greeted them, fixing a smile to her face. "My name is Ailin Silverford, Second Knight of Aeolous. Can I perhaps assist you in some manner?"
