I noticed a lot of folks don’t use Discord to keep up with MxRP trouble and usually come here for answers. Instead of shouting into the void, I made this blog so they can always come here to shoot an ask to find who they were roleplaying with! Any roleplayers from any site are also welcome to see if they can re-match with their partner through this blog as well! The only exceptions are sites like Cherp where it’s blatantly against the rules to break anonymity. Feel free to send asks with your rp information to try and find your partner(s)! The blog will always use the tag “roleplayrematch” for easy access, so you don’t have to worry about this blog getting lost. I think it’s a little amusing. “I don’t ever want parp to be traced back to me.” Firstly, no one does. Secondly, to anyone who cared you will always be remembered for this. Like, not only is it EXTREMELY easy to remember the first and last anything because that’s just how brains usually work, but also you were pretty infamous for one of two things:

Either being beloved by a rabid fanbase who compulsively felt the need to put your feelings before their basic expectations- see messages like “I think not adding clickable links is inconvenient/lazy” being met with “well, you’re just lazy for not doing things the hard way” and other internal conflict guilt tripping or shaming basic standards- or being a jackass and treating people like dirt who “dared defy you” in any way, even if it was simply just your irrational opinion on the matter. I don’t think I’ve EVER seen someone employ as many textbook abusive actions since I left my step father’s home, whether I have to label it “my opinion” for the sake of this entitled and arrogant cis het white British man’s fragile ego or not.

And before ANY motherfucker gets me fucked up, STOP BLAMING PEOPLE YOU HATE BASED ON INCONCLUSIVE RUMORS FOR PEOPLE’S NEGATIVE OPINIONS. I saw this projection bullshit when mod Turtle quit and then it was directed at the Roled team for some godforsaken reason. Get a fuckin grip you insecure little weasel, my opinion isn’t fuckin swayed by some random coders I don’t know and barely trust. I use the site but your abusive behavior and mistreatment of users the reason I’m so wary of the goddamn thing in the first place.

Also if site owners of cherp/Roled/mxrp or whatever want to take an easy but significant step towards keeping children off their site

RTA, Restricted to Adults enables parental filtering and work to enforce the prevention of children from viewing age inappropriate content.

Consider the RTA label. It's some meta data that can help parents filter content, and is automatically recognized by many parental filters as an adult only website, which will block children from accessing. This could go a long way into saving people's asses with good faith since it's a recognized organization and label and you might actually keep some minors off the site. Just a thought. Also, it's free.

insolent sent an ask to another blog, reposted here:

neglecting to note at the time that a) "my bf at the time" was thell, and b) the email was easily recognizable as thell's, which was specifically why cerulean recognized it and was (allegedly) excited to see him on there

naturally when this all came to light insolent backpedaled and demanded all posts with this information be taken down. of course she didn't feel that way before she and thell were called out for lying by omission and conflict-of-interesting their way into not getting banned from each other's discords for telling people to kill themselves

tl;dr the info in that ask was gleefully made public by insolent when she wanted people to hate roled but suddenly became "private info" when her bullshit was called out

Hi, Roled mod here. Sorry about the trouble. I understand it being frustrating to suddenly get slapped about something you didn't even get a chance to act on yourself. In hindsight, it was a bit rash of us. I intend to make the Warning action only set a prompt to draft, instead of deleting it outright, so that users have the opportunity to modify it themselves without losing so much effort. For what it's worth, your account doesn't have a strike against it. Sorry again, and have a nice day.
