[It was the only word Perdita could find to describe these past few. . . Weeks? Months? ]
[God only knew how much time had passed since she landed in this digital hellscape. It never felt like there was a moment to breathe with Caine's constant adventures that felt like a fever dream come to life.]
[At least everyone else here was good company. Enough to not go insane at least. Even if socializing wasn't exactly Perdita’s thing.]
[She'd just have to get better at that.]
[But that's not relevant at the moment.]
[Right now, she stood in front of the chess piece’s pillow fort. Unsure if she should bother him. Being somewhere dark and quiet where the potential of everyone else leaving her alone SOUNDED nice- ]
[But Perdita wasn't completely sure if Kinger even wanted her company at the moment. Kinger seemed mentally attached to his fort after all, she's never seen him let anyone in.]
[Perhaps she was just overthinking all this. As she tended to do. Maybe he heard her roll over and was about to pull back the pillows.]
[Or she’s just going to stand there and look silly. Like the clown she is.]
[Kinger wasn’t exactly able to tell that she was there, stuck in his own brain of which you can’t even describe as a labyrinth by how complicated it was. Not that he understood his own juices up there, he only occasionally became lucid. Thankfully staying in the fort made him a tad bit more stable.. even if it isn’t by a lot.]
[He fidgeted around with his hands, remembering a moment where he was with his wife. It made him.. comfortable. These memories were comfortable even with their bittersweetness.]
[His eyes darted around, having a thought that Queenie wouldn’t have liked the way he’s set up the pillow fort currently as it was messy and structurally wonky. He dragged himself to the ‘exit’ door, picking a pillow off the supposed wall. The light didn’t manage to stunt him, when he saw Perdita on the other side however, he jumped back.]
[Screamed out the disorientated King, grabbing onto his robe.. only to notice who it is and calm down with the snap of a finger. His lower eyelids raised, happy to see her as he gave her a wave.]
Oh! Hi Perdita! You startled me!
