#rolled ankle

my barbie movie experience is off to a bad start, when i was getting in line to get snacks/drinks i rolled my ankle and tried to stay standing which made my ankle roll more and then when i inevitably fell to the ground i banged my cheek against those line divider things. To make matters worse i was wearing platform heels.

I scrapped and bruised my knee and my cheek also has a little cut and my ankle still hurts but idk what the injury is exactly.

The workers were very nice tho, they got me ice and made sure i was ok and asked if i needed anything

Finally back home!

Sorry that we missed 2 days of the fall for costume stuff, but we were gone for Ren fair and after I took a hard fall while I was there we decided to just take a little bit of time to get back to feeling better. I think my only major complaint was that one of the guilds there started shooting off cannons over the lake and it set off my anxiety really bad. I was very lucky that Jessi was there because she was able to make sure that I was ok. Jessi is amazing and without all the work she got done this Ren fair would not have happened.

Rolled my ankle the other day and this is the aftermath.

so as anyone who's been on my blog since Thursday probably knows I rolled/sprained my ankle really bad and I've had it in a brace for a lot of the time. so anyway I've discovered that if I'm laying in bed or sitting around I need to take it off because it starts hurting really bad? like it feels like it's compressing way more than it really is and it makes my ankle hurt worse. also when that happens and I take it off there's a red spot around my ankle that feels kinda irritated? it's just in that one spot though & I'm not allergic to anything except pollen so I'm pretty sure it's not an allergic reaction. it doesn't do this if I'm on my feet if I'm on my feet walking somewhere or making food it feels fine and it only does this if I've been at rest for an extended period of time (I wanna say if I've been sitting/laying down for 10-15 minutes it starts to hurt). does this happen to anyone else? is it just a thing that happens when you have a brace on while inactive? should I be worried??

Wasn’t feeling as sick today so I figured I’d get some stuff done. Well I did a stupid thing like standing on my bed to get something and fell off it and now I’ve either rolled or twisted my ankle. My body pretty much just said “nope, you are staying in bed.”

First my period, then sickness, then this. All of which are still happening. I just can’t catch a break this week, and it’s only Monday😭

Managed to roll my ankle.

But damnit because I have a tendency to roll them so this isn’t unusual. But it is fucking annoying to the least
