ME AND THEE | EP 6
meanwhile, "the guys over there" and "they" in question --
What if you went with me as someone else, not my right hand man, not someone who work's for ARSENI? Could we go together then? Just tell me if you feel anything. If you feel the same, I'll take care of the rest. We can't do that.
My reaction to William showing up as Rome is nearly identical to when Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire showed up in Spiderman: No Way Home, which is to say, I was not in the slightest surprised and yet I still needed to take several laps.
Us: Collectively knowing that William is Rome.
Also us when he shows up on screen:
Mhok truly is God's strongest soldier bc what d you MEAN he is working at his beloved's AWKWARD FAMILY REUNION and okay damn his boss is bitter and oops now he is up guarding his beloved's bedroom and his MOTHER IN LAW is there as his beloved asks her why cant he have love and how much he wants to break the rule WHILE LOOKING AT HIM and mother in law keeps being like yeah you cannot have love BUT proceeds to tell him to take care of her son. and mhok is just THERE like 🧍♂️
Knowing what I know about Rome from the book,
This -
Doesn't even scratch the surface of Rome being COMPLETELY obsessed and in love with Mhok.
(also absolutely CACKLING about the fact they used the timeframe of 7 days, I wonder if that was a deliberate reference to the book)
it’s the way you can tell from how mok responded to it, that Rome has definitely pulled that tackle move on mok before. rome probably used to use the excuse of “seeing how strong p’kian’s right hand man is” or something. idk something about that scene made it feel like tradition
