I haven't read their book (I have it) but if I remember right from mentions I've seen in others...

Mok does end up with Rome, I think after taking a bullet for Thee? Like, doesn't he retire or something?

IDK, but Mok does marry Rome eventually.

What the show hasn't mentioned (or I am not remembering it) is that Mok was actually Rome's roommate in college. That's when they fell in love. It's just that Mok never wanted to leave Thee, knowing how lonely Thee's life is.

I don't know the exact circumstances, but once Peach is kind of locked in, Mok feels more like he can step away and be in love himself. Rome and Mok are intimate for the first time after the events of Me and Thee, and Rome is dedicated to turning Mok into a Pillow Prince.

Hey! I have read the novel (twice by now bc my brain needs romemok to function now apparently) and they're actually an established long distance couple during me and thee.

So in the book (not sure if they'll mention this or change it in the show) Thee decides not to inherit the Mafia position from his dad, leaving it to Rome. This is happening right after Rome confesses to Mok, and Mok, the absolutely secretly just-as-insane-as-the-rest-of-them man that he is, confesses that he likes Rome TO ROME'S PARENTS (this is the first time he says it out loud which is insane behavior, to confess to your crush in front of his family, I'm sorry I just find this hilarious)

Anyway Mok basically decides to follow Thee to Thailand to 'make himself worthy of being Rome's partner' and tells Rome that when he officially takes over as head of the family, Mok will stay with him (which is basically just them getting married)

This is just a quick summary, just thought I'd add a bit since I'm already obsessed with this couple and Tumblr is my only outlet.

okay, i am loving episode 6, especially the last scene, but I am a little disappointed that we probably won't get one of my favorite scenes from the novel, so I've just copy and pasted it here for anyone interested.

After they finished breakfast, Thee made a quick call to his secretary. A brief exchange later, he grabbed his bag and gently pushed Peach toward the door, announcing that Mok was already waiting for them. However, what neither of them expected was to open the door and find Thee's secretary leaving the apartment next door at exactly the same moment. If Peach remembered correctly, the apartment next door belonged to Thee's younger brother, someone he had never met but vaguely remembered hearing was as possessive as Thee himself. Seeing

Thee's secretary stop by his brother's house was... unexpected, to say the least. "Is Rome still asleep?" He asked casually, completely unperturbed by the sight, unlike Peach, who blinked in confusion, clearly showing how lost he felt. "Yes, He is still unconscious. The master came by his house last night, so it got... a bit late", Mok replied in an even tone, although his tired expression and faint dark circles toid a different story. Thee nodded in understanding and gave Mok a firm pat on the shoulder as if offering silent comfort. "Wait. I'll let you leave early today. Go home and recover a bit" Mok visibly trembled but wisely decided not to argue. Instead, he directed his attention to Peach, who was still uncomfortable behind Thee. "Good morning, Mr. Peach" Mok hesitated for a fraction of a second before showing a slight smile. ile reached into his pocket and pulled out a small jar of thick cream. "I think the pooder alone isn't enough. A concealer might work better. You can use this if you wish" Peach the towned the brow, confused for the offer seemingly random, untill he saw Mok lightly hit his neck. His cheeks instantly flushed as he raised his hands to cover his neck in panic. The marks that Thee had left all over his body were already causing him problems. Peach never wore makeup beyond a basic mattifying powder, assuming that would be enough to hide it all this morning. Clearly, he had made a mistake.

"Speaking from experience, right?" Thee joked, his deep voice mixed with amusement. At the same time, he pulled on Peach's collar, adjusting it mare comfortably. He could enjoy leaving his mark, but that didn't mean he wanted anyone else to see him. "When are you going to stop your incredibly possessive brother?" Mok remained expressionless, all trace of embarrassment gone. Peach, listening in silence from the sidelines, realized something he hadn't noticed before.

Doesn't even scratch the surface of Rome being COMPLETELY obsessed and in love with Mhok.

(also absolutely CACKLING about the fact they used the timeframe of 7 days, I wonder if that was a deliberate reference to the book)

It's official, Me and Thee is my new hyperfixation.

My brain absolutely does not care that we have to wait a week for new episodes and there's barely any content, I've already read the novel for Thee and peach as well as Rome and Mok and my brain is already telling me to reread them.

AAHHH

This is why I usually wait for a series to be over before I get obsessed.

So I love Me and Thee so far, the comedy slaps and the serious bits are segued into really well.

But

I have found many bits that make me hc Thee as autistic and naturally I have to share.

1)

The perfume scene in EP 1. The IMMEDIATE way that Thee knew the perfume was off and the very routine way he was dressed?

A lot of these bits can also be viewed as 'oh he's rich so obvs he never does anything on his own' but the thing about them making Thee so over the top rich also has the consequence of letting bitches like me play with the character as I like.

Remember, canon is simply the cosmic goop our alt universes are made out of.

Him asking ai on how to communicate cracks me up 🤣

But seriously brings me back to the days of googling 'how to be friends with someone' or 'how do you know if someone is your best friend'

I know that this isn't a 'tism exclusive thing but I found it hilarious.

3)

When he was practicing his smile? I know he probably did it out of nerves but come on, how many of us had to practice smiling in a mirror or other expressions to get maximum™️ points for body language.

4)

Him being uncomfy at first without his jacket and tie! That is an excessive amount of nerves for a neurotypical in this situation, just saying.

5)

Literally anytime Peach had to teach him basic/common sense with literally anything.

I see things like this happen occasionally, where someone with autism(or even someone or even someone without, tho way more common with ASD) just never learns something we consider basic or even innate or learns it from a different source (like soap operas in Thee's case) and this is ESPECIALLY common with social things. Although Thee is still an extraordinary outlier, as most higher functioning people eventually learn from observation or is just explicitly taught by friends or family (like peach is doing rn!)

Last one I promise, but just Thee's intense hyperfixation on soap operas, and him being able to memorize lines from a series is just, so neurospicy I can't help but laugh.

Soooo, I'm writing a post-canon fic and I'm kinda split between Kenta just healing or him not feeling pain as well. on one hand there is zero reaction to the knife in the scene with winner, but on the other Kenta does kinda grimaces when he takes a bullet for Kim. idk, what do you guys think?

He still feels pain, just has a hella high tolerance bc of ✨trauma✨
