My friends and I have a connected canon between us so none of us have a "Rook". All our Rooks have other chess piece names. Mine's Castle. And I love them so much.

I could honestly go on forever about all the thoughts I have for them XD I'll do it. I'd be HAPPY to lol

Especially their connection with the Inquisitor 😈

I'm not proud to admit how long I was staring at the best friend section trying to figure it out. But I have no idea who would be his best friend. I don't want to choose Lucanis again because I believe a SO is your best friend first and LI second so that's covered but like... I can't answer this until I finally get him past the intro.

Every companion(excluding LI) has such a good reason for being their best friend. I'd have to roleplay Renato in the game to figure out who he'd gravitate more towards and would see owning that spot in his life.

It could even be Teia or Viago. There's a lot of complexity here.

They take Bellara with them a lot but I don't think they are necessarily best friends. Its something I definitely need to explore more. Because until I know who Renato truly is besides what I've made him in my fiction so far, I don't know much about him aside from who I want him to be.

Things will certainly change when he's faced with the choices he will have to make over the course of the game. Solas is a good example of what will change about Renato but I won't go into that just yet.
