Ooh humhohohum having played the taash/bellara missions one after the other I kind of like that and I also kind of think Cora would have a bit of an anxiety attack after thinking literally everyone she tries to help just dies and spiralling so hard and I 100% also think she tries to break things off with Lucanis after cause she's insane and neurotic and thinks this will somehow keep him safe and he doesn't know how to express himself well enough to stop her or if she even cares enough about him that he should try and stop her and it's a whole mess. Then she and Neve immediately run off on their own to go stop Aelia and don't tell anyone else what they're doing until they get back. Very important little detail here is Rook gets a gash on her forehead for a venatori and so walks into the lighthouse with a face covered in blood which of course results in an argument between her and mr. First Talon over her being reckless and then they [redacted].

Rook's fists clenched. "What are you so desperate to avoid feeling?"
Oh my gosh chapter 38! Who knew I had the drive to write this much damn. Spite is a hell of a motivator. Anyway I'm simply posting this because it is the official start of the Act 2 set of chapter which I have not finished writing yet but which I am working hard on. No pressure for anyone to read or even care lmao I'm simply posting in case. (also I have not finished writing act 2 I'm kind of posting this on a whim. Yolo.)
