What is Rook's preference: Sunrise or sunset, and the favorite place to experience it?

For Embria, it totally depends on the context. She loves witnessing a quiet sunrise, preferably with a cup of coffee and a baked good. If she can share that quiet with a special someone, even better.

She also really appreciates a good sunset, especially in Arlathan, where the golden light sets the forest ablaze and reflects of the lakes and whirlpools, adding a new layer to the sparkling, magical nature of the forest.

hello, hiiii! Does Cioba have a hobby she stopped pursuing for any reason? Did she just drift away from it or was she forced to give it up for any reason?

Cioba has always loved flowers. Growing up in Antiva City she always kept an eye on the ground, be it for the odd pop of color defying the odds to grow in the gutter or, more likely, forgotten stems fallen from bouquets or passing merchants. Back then she would weave them--when she had enough--into necklaces and crowns for the rest of the rag tag bunch that worked the streets.

When she is first taken by the Crows she is at first thrilled for the sheer amount of flora to be found at her disposal. After learning of Teia's favorite flower (Crystal Grace) she makes the most elaborate crown yet. A gift for the sister she never thought she'd see again. Some of the older fledglings mock her, though, so she stops out of shame.

She still periodically makes Viago a crown, however. And the bastard wears it, too.

Teia kept her crown. Had it magically preserved to stay bright and beautiful like the day it was made forever.

If her best friend Turvi were to get arrested, would Saadrah come bail him out?

And if yes, would she come right away or leave him for a night to stew.

Saadrah would absolutely come bail him out as soon as she could.

Unfortunately, she's a bit too broke to pay bail outright, so she'd have to fall back on the "break out of jail" option instead, which would take a little planning and end up accidentally leaving him to stew. The plan itself would likely involve a Chantry robe, a borrowed dwarf "cousin" in false Qunari horns for a circus performer ruse, a prosthetic nose, and three nugs numbered 1, 2, and 4. The Chantry robe is, of course, to disguise Turvi for sneaking him back out.

It probably goes at least a little pear-shaped halfway through, but I'm sure they'll be fine. How are Turvi's juggling skills?

🌻 How old is your Rook? How do they feel about celebrating their birthday? What gift has meant the most to them?

At the time of Veilguard Cioba is 28. She loves to celebrate her birthday because she didn't celebrate (nor know what date her birthday even was) until she reunited with Teia at 6. Her most cherished gift is the small stilettos she keeps hidden on her person at all times, one from Teia and one from Viago. They were gifted to her on her on her 20th birthday, the very same day she became a Master Assassin.

🌷If Rook needed to get away from their responsibilities for a moment, where would they go? Where is their safe space outside the Lighthouse?

The Cantori Diamond. Anywhere Teia is, is a safe space for her. If Teia is busy, she'd go to Rialto, to her bedroom overlooking the bay. There's a big picture window with a window seat where she likes to sit.

🌿 Does your Rook have any tattoos? What was the moment when they got them like? If they’re a Crow where is their de Riva brand located? What vallaslin do they have/how did they earn it if they’re Dalish?

Cioba has a tattoo on her chest of a Diamond and lines across her collarbones that lead down her sternum. It symbolizes the finding of her family, the diamond symbolizing herself, The Little Diamond. There's lines joining the center line, one for Teia and then one for Viago, and they lead to her heart. Below that are shapes meant to represent wings. Her de Riva tattoo is between her shoulderblades. The mark on her face is not vallaslin, but a scar from when she was very young.

Hello, Caretaker! I have a Rook that doesn't follow exact canon so they don't have a faction. Are they still eligible for Rookfest?

I'm not sure why, or if you're aware, but some of the rookfest posts are ending up caught by my blacklist because they're tagged datv critical. Just thought you might want to know, in case it's not intentional. (I don't think any rookfest posts would be critical? But maybe I'm wrong lol)

We searched through the ethers to remove any errants traces of these currents, clearing the way through the Crossroads for you Dweller.

What does it take to become Cioba's friend, is it easy or does she take time to warm up to people? Is she easy to befriend or are there some walls/ thorns that need to be dealt with first?

It doesn't take much. Say hi and ask to be her friend, really! She makes friends easy, often thinking the best of people until they prove otherwise. She years for acceptance and belonging.
