Dumbledore: I’m not saying we BLACKMAIL him blackmail him. We just insinuate that we know what’s going on and let him fill in the blanks.

Snape: Oh, so it’s like he blackmails himself?

Dumbledore: Yes, you just go up to him and say, “Well, well Lupin... out for a little walk in the moonlight are we?”

Snape: Well, well Lupin. Out for a little walk in the moonlight are we?

Dumbledore: No, that just sounds like you’re pleasantly enquiring about his leisurely nighttime stroll. Maybe add a pause before “moonlight.”

Snape: Well, well Lupin... out for a little walk in the... ... moonlight are we?

Dumbledore: Too long.

Snape: Felt it. Salazar, this is not my strongsuit.
