Story:

Lemurpaw was born an only child. Growing, she became known for her good looks, and was expected to become mates with Beechpaw--of whom she was very close to-- as soon as they became warriors. 

Both of the apprentices had agreed they would become mates as soon as they passed their warrior assessment. However on the day of the test, Lemurpaw was hunting down a rabbit, and not watching where she was going, when the rabbit suddenly swerved away. 

She had collided face-first with a large, sharp rock on their territory. She was rushed to the medicine cat den, where the medicine cat tried all he could to patch up her face. But in spite of his efforts, her features would remain severaly scarred.

Lemurpaw was no longer the beautiful apprentice of her Clan. Worse, when Beechpaw went to go visit her in the medicine cat den, he was disgusted with her new appearance and promptly cut off their relationship. Lemurpaw was heartbroken. 

When her warrior ceremony occurred, she was named Lemurgaze, for her cross eyed stare due to her scarred and now blind eye. Not very long after, Beechstrike had taken a new mate, Honeyflower, and they had kits soon after.

Their leader had assigned Lemurgaze to mentor one of Beechstrike's kits, Roosterpaw. Lemurgaze, adored Roosterpaw, seeing him as her own son, a life she could've had with Beechstrike, if only that foxheart hadn't rejected her over something so superficial as appearance. 

One day, during a fight with another Clan, Lemurgaze saw her opportunity.

Beechstrike was sitting near a ledge, not participating in the fight at all. Coward! She ran up to him and cornered him, attempting to end his life, but Honeyflower had noticed this, and rushed to protect her mate. 

Honeyflower approached from Lemurgaze's blind side. She never saw it coming. Lemurgaze pleaded and screamed at Beechstrike and Honeyflower to help her, but they left, leaving her to drown. 

Honeyflower convinced her mate that no one was to know of this betrayal, as their son, Roosterpaw would blame them for abandoning Lemurgaze. They informed the Clan that Lemurgaze was slain in battle and her body was thrown over the cliff into the water by a rogue.
