What about the roosters? Half of chicks that are born are male. Just a few minutes on CL (swipe left) will show you how desperately rooster rescues are needed and how irresponsible people are by hatching (or buying) more chicks. There are NOT homes for all the unwanted roosters because they will never lay eggs and are seen of no ‘use’. Rescues and sanctuaries are constantly turning people away that want to dump roosters. Please thing about this the next time you want to buy or hatch chicks. Want to be part of the solution?? Consider adopting a rooster. ...well @roostersanctuary did it. 😜 Thanks to the amazing network of small sanctuaries and individuals, this guy and 47 others will be saved from death. 💜 We will be taking in two, so any donations would be greatly appreciated!!
