i designed my backup character for my current dnd campaign and every time i look at her i'm tempted to throw my current character into a fire so i can play her instead. her name is Offal.
Mandatory acne, freckles, vitiligo, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, warts etc havers appreciation post. Clear skin is overrated as hell, and honestly the shit that we get for having a simple skin condition is crazy. No, you don’t look like a witch or a cow or any of that. You look like you. And you are beautiful no matter your skin.^^
And he assumes a warthog can be used to power his Wart-remover Bot.
I am not sure how that would work, but it’s kinda cute he thinks it will.
See below the cut for a ramble about why I love this intriguing little Zach fact 😊.
I have no judgment against Zach for having warts, they are caused by a virus. Anyone can have them or get them, my mom has them on her feet, I have them on my fingers (I’m super self conscious about them, but it’s life), my dad’s had them on his fingers, it happens!
And even though I’ve experienced many people (including doctors) claiming they are gross and disgusting it’s normal, and I kinda love the fact that Zach’s not shy about his struggles with warts because they can be unsightly and painful, and the removal process isn’t always easy. Even if you can successfully remove them, they can come back, which is frustrating. Zach, therefore, is trying to find a permanent solution to remove his warts.
Does it make sense, no, the warthog cannot remove his warts, they simply share a name, “warts.” Is it ethical, of course not, but it’s Zach, he never plays by the rules regarding animals and nature. But, I love this bit of humanity added to him, and I love that the Kratt Brothers/writers included this fact for Zach.
