I just wanted to say, thank you so much for everything that you do. I feel like people in crucial jobs like yours don't get nearly enough gratitude for what must be a highly stressful occupation (and from what I have read here, it is,) and my cat Casper's life was saved by a veterinarian just like you. Three years later he's a happy, purry little dude, all because of a vet. So thank you for being a champion for animals and somehow running this amazing blog too. You're fantastic!

Sketch of the Day (January 21st 2018) - Botched!

This began from customized Breyer thoroughbred which I've done of Vera (which I need to seal and photograph,) where I really liked my paintwork on her undercarriage, so I decided to cement my notion of how to colour tath (elven horse) undersides by doing a digital colour concept of her. That became her hitting the ground pretty hard, Derenze getting mighty pissy over the fact and the guilty party (Kayoss, Westwind and Northwind,) reacting with a nice classic "Oh s***!" moment (because if Derenze catches their tails he will kill them.)

Sketch of the Day (September 11th 2017) - random stylized fox-coloured falcolf. I actually did most of this over the past couple of days and just finished the colouring today. This girl would fall under the ‘brown’ colour phase and she’s a weird mix of broken stripe and siberian body stripe patterns, likely the result of parents living alongside humans. (Since falcolfs from different continents, despite being an extremely well traveled species,* don’t generally cross...)

*Humans don’t travel all that much on Rimer either - something about farming obligations and having absolutely no technology to facilitate convenient travel.

Heyo!  Thanks for the reply!  Definitely sounds like a cool idea!  I’m gonna make the first post tomorrow at 12PM PST.  If you’re the first to reply to that post, then a gemsbok is what I shall draw!  :D

Aaaaah they’re so fuzzy and cute and adorable!! <3 (They don’t look too upset to be disturbed. :D )

They yelled a little bit but all I had to do was pet them for a few minutes and they nodded back off. :D
