GAY
Definition: Gay men (also known as homosexual men, male homosexual or uranian) are men and male-aligned (helian) or masculine-aligned (phoebian) individuals who experience gay attraction to men/solarians and/or masculine individuals. This identity is sometimes more broadly defined as non-women attracted to non-women. However, not all non-binary individuals feel comfortable being included under gay male attraction. A non-woman attracted to non-women is also called floric. Gay men are the male counterparts to lesbians and fall under the homosexual/homoromantic and monosexual/monoromantic umbrellas.

Colour meanings: The top two stripes = community, healing, and joy. The bottom two stripes = pure love, fortitude, and diversity. The white middle stripe is taken from the trans flag and = all trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming gay men. The green and teal in the flag = nature, as love between men is often seen as “unnatural” in the eyes of society and in religion. Furthermore, gay men have historically used green flowers and plants (carnations, hyacinths, etc.) The blue and purple on the bottom of half the flag = how some gay men might be stereotypical, some might not be, and some are in-between or fluid. Some call this flag the “ocean gay flag” due to the colors resembling the ocean.
ROSEIC
Definition: Roseic or rosean refers to having a matching sexual and romantic orientation, meaning they involve the same subject(s). The "-rose" suffix can be applied to terms to denote both sexual and romantic orientation to that subject. For example, a panrose individual is both pansexual and panromantic. One could experience roseic attraction, meaning one is experiencing both sexual and romantic attraction. For some, sexual and romantic attraction can be inseparable or even feel indistinguishable. Most individuals in society are expected to have a matching sexual and romantic orientation. The "-sexual" suffix often implies that one's romantic orientation is also defined by the term. However, this isn't the case for many individuals, especially those on the asexual and/or aromantic spectrum. Therefore, the rose suffix creates more specificity.
