I have a question! What if all the smash kids survived with Kirby? Who do you think sacrifice themselves to protect the kids? (besides obviously palutena doing it to protect pit and dark pit) also sorry for the sad idea

I can imagine a goonies-esque adventure with the kiddos pus kirby and let me tell u, that is RIGHT up my alley. maybe i’ll get back to doing scene redraws with the smash kids once i’m done with a commission im working on.

there are a lot of characters i can think of that sacrifice themselves to keep the kids safe. peach and rosalina come to mind just for the motherly nature of them. SAMUS FOR SURE and even like. mario. snake would be a cool choice since he’s this Tough Man and yet he tries to help the kids (im p sure in later games he raises a kid with another guy?? if this is the same snake that’s in smash bros. anyway)

Jim had not even noticed when the two of them had fallen asleep. 

It was the first time the three of them had been in the same place for what felt like forever. But they were, and in the end all three of them hadn’t really been able to detach themselves from each other from the moment Jim and Claire had made it back to Arcadia. 

But they had been watching a movie. And now instead the halfling found that he had to people leaning against him. Claire was snoring softly (a sound he was vaguely familiar with) and Toby was drooling onto his arm (a sensation he was not used to at all). 

The movie the trio had been watching was only halfway through, and so at least he could just lay here for a little while. Keeping as still as possible so he didn’t disturb them was kind of hard, especially since sitting still was just not usually his style these days. His bones always felt almost itchy when he sat too long. 

But a small part of him was just so pleased to have his two best friends so close, and without thinking about it he actually tries to squish himself deeper into the couch so they both can lay further on him. 

Having both of them here with him, it made him feel good. Like himself, like he was whole again. 

Maybe being stuck here for a few hours wouldn’t be all that bad actually.
