Rosmarino (Salvia rosmarinus Spenn. (= Rosmarinus officinalis L.), Lamiaceae
Plant of the Day
Wednesday 25 December 2024
At the garden centre was this great idea for a small festive tree in the form of a pyramidal trained Salvia rosmarinus (rosemary, old man, rose of the sea). This aromatic, evergreen shrub can be used as a culinary or medicinal herb and just needs a well-drained growing media or soil. The flowers are usually pale blue and white, and are produced from spring to summer with occasional flowers in autumn. I shall try to train some rosemary cuttings into small trees for the festive season.

Hello, I'm looking for some people to read a draft of my novel, Rosmarinus. I am not looking for a beta reader, but more like a few advanced copy readers. I would like to emphasize that this is just a draft, not the finished product. I need some eyes on it to make honest suggestions on what and where I can improve plot wise. There will be typos and plot holes. The character's eyes may not remain the same everytime. But I want honest feedback.
What you can do:
Read my book and give me honest feedback! I would like to send the book out to readers by July 1st and have feedback by July 31st. I'll provide you with a text copy and a Google form to fill out!
What I have to offer:
A fantasy pirate novel about a lost princess struggling to find her place in the world while a fisherman's daughter seeks to rescue her mother from slavery. All made more complicated by an ancient feud between two sister goddesses who were once human.
On a more serious note, I would deeply appreciate any and all feedback. I'm very excited to share this story. It has grown so much with me over the past few years. If you are interested, please fill out this google form and I will reach out to you by email. I'm looking for at least 3 people and a max of twenty. Thank you!!
Please do not share this manuscript with anyone with obtaining my permission first. Text copyright 2025. All rights reserved. Thank you!

I’m still thinking about how most Bloodborne players will never realize that its lore is such that in a disease-riddled city about to succumb to madness, the weapon most associated with the elite stratum of the church, who are so close to the truth that they have access to actual magic, is just a common pesticide made with a garden herb
Rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus syn Rosmarinus officinalis) flowers. Rosemary is a wonderful fragrant flavoring and also an ornamental plant in mediteranian climates. There are varieties that are supposed to be both drought tolerant and cold hardy but I haven't had luck getting it to survive when planted outdoors in Colorado. It does well in the greenhouse however. #Rosemary #Salvia_rosmarinus #Salvia #rosmarinus #officinalis #edibleplants #culinaryplants #CUgreenhouse (at CU Greenhouse) https://www.instagram.com/rhisiart_photography/p/CYmH0f-rS6h/?utm_medium=tumblr
