I imagine Ethan got the seer gene from Ross. Idk why I always thought this but I do. And I just imagine Ross never knew about it, like the seer gene doesn’t skip a generation it’s just activated obviously during puberty but also when they touch a supernatural being (like a vampire*wink wink*). Maybe Ross just didn’t meet anybody supernatural growing up or at least he never touched anybody supernatural, but when he grew up and is now working in insurance and has to shake a lot of ppls hands I imagine he sometimes “spaces out” and gets what he thinks are strange little episodes where he sees something strange. One time he shook a man’s hand and all of a sudden saw a flash of the hairy man in front of him turning into a dog (werewolf). He just thinks it’s something weird maybe an over active imagination and moves on.

Benny: *sees Ethan walk in looking somewhat distraught/out of it* E, what's wrong?

Ethan: *is silent for a second before finally answering with a blank stare/look on his face* I just had "the talk" with my dad after ending our video call earlier.

Benny: OK. That doesn't sound so bad.

Ethan: Except it was about "the birds and the bees, and everything in between." *looks at Benny with a mortified/embarrassed expression for a minute before burying his face in his hands and groaning*
