Most of the Inspector’s sworn enemies (specifically the Blorgons, the Rostraans and the Circuit Chaps) have failed to invade and conquer Kayaclasch because of the Inspector.
It wasn’t until the Sergeant betrayed the Infinity Knights to get back at the Inspector that someone succeeded in taking over their home world.
With as delicate as the Rostraans are,
one would think they’d protect themselves better since they are warriors.
It’s heavily implied that the reason the Rostraans ended up cloning themselves was
their never-ending war with the Turans, because the Turans manage to reproduce so quickly that they'd otherwise overwhelm the Rostraans.
‘I shall have you all killed … just as soon as I take care of this bothersome task …’
I certainly couldn’t be the only one who sang the opening to O-Zone’s ‘Dragostea Tin Dei’ with the words:
‘Rostraa hee, Rostraa who? ‘Rostraa hoe, Rostraa HA-Ha!’
in honour of the Rostraans’ catchphrase ‘Rostraa HA!’
Who doesn’t remember when the Rostraans first appeared
in the serial ‘The Exodus into Space’?
Strange how fizzy drinks end up having something the Rostraans need to survive.
And, naturally, the Inspector knows how to exploit the Rostraans’ needs. By offering them an all-you-can-drink buffet, in exchange for a tiny amount of information: Where Solomon and Colby are being held.
It’s not like the Inspector could simply infiltrate the Rostraan compound and break them free, is it? (Rostraans aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed.)
